It seems very unfair to fans who booked a bus to the pairs expecting to see Kildemand (can't predict injuries) and Cook (whose participation has apparently been iffy for weeks or maybe months) riding. Without knowing all the facts, for the club to issue a statement regarding rider participation and without much clarity only 2 days before the event seems pretty pathetic and disrespectful to the fans. Maybe it's to do with legal reasons or maybe they genuinely haven't a clue what's happening. Either way it just looks bad. Anybody put their season ticket up for sale on ebay yet?

Would be no surprise at all if they suddenly announced that a National Development League team had been invited to take part in the Championship KO cup to make an even number of teams but were allowed a few premiership guests to even the teams up.

If his ban ends around 12th July that's not mid season for us. That's usually nearly end of season the past couple of years.

In my humble opinion think he probably did as much as he could given the situation with injuries.Trying to get replacement riders or guests for a Saturday night track competing with Polish fixtures, lack of visas from Europe and a big shortage of speedway riders in general can't be easy.Thought Stuart Dickson was a fairly well respected team manager but obviously not in Cornhill.

Given the number of guests in the league these days you'd be as well putting the top 18 available riders names in a hat and drawing out 2 for each team.

Would going to a wedding not be classed as withholding your service or whatever its called, unless it was your own wedding.Fair enough for birth of your child which can't be planned for timing wise but not a wedding.
