Mimmo the reason Adam Kirby only completed 2 of his MDL rides was because he had ridden 6hts in NL meeting beforehand. He said he could barely feel his fingers after his last race so didn't want to risk it. Don't know the reason for Josh Bailey.

I have spoken to Jayne at buxton about Adam bw double. They have their reserves already so if they did sign Adam it would have to be in main body of team.

Thank you to those of you who have been enquiring about Adam Kirby and what he will be doing in 2014. Adam is the first to admit that he had a disappointing end to the season in 2013 after starting it so well, his confidence took a battering and took time to get it back. He did start to show signs of his old self at the end of the season with some really good rides at Leicester in a mdl cup match for kings lynn against long eaton. He would have loved to have returned to the kings this season but alas it wasn't to be so he is riding for kings lynn lightening in the mdl this season and also hoping to pick up guest bookings if they arise. As some have said teams rarely finish the season with the same 7 that they start with so Adam will wait and hope he gets a call from a team. One thing for sure is that he will be ready if that call comes.

TMW if you think thats over the top then may i suggest you look back over previous topics and threads to see some of the comments he has postecon here. Many of them attacking one particular rider in the kent cta fire kings team .

Trust me Jayne you can't be more wrong abt Halifax Tigar. He may be a riders sponsor but he calls it as he see's it and if he disagreed with anything that his rider said then he will say. So he isn't biased in anything he says.

You are entitled to your opinion Heathen 1984, yes by recent results from Adam it was a very poor show by him lastnight. But you are probably unaware of the reasons behind him falling off. In his first heat his rear chain snapped as he was halfway round bend 2 hence it almost throwing him over the handle bars and him going down. Similar thing happened in his second heat but chain didn't break it just came off jamming the back wheel. His third ride he just over locked between 3rd & 4th bend and spun it right round. You say he was awful but i just say it was a bad night for him and he knows he should hav done much much better and will be working hard ro get back on track and scoring the points he is well capable of.

Adam had an x ray on his hand and there are no bones broken. He has declared himself fit ti ride against dudley tonite.

Barrie Evans sold all his equipment when he packed up at end of 2011.

If you are referring to the fact that in the beginning you yourself were a bit critical towards Adam then maybe the cap would fit. You hav since changed your opinion towards Adam and you do actually write some positive posts towards him. I applaud you for this gustix.

I'm afraid with dim the whinger u are banging your head against a brick wall Martin. He appears to have a major gripe towards Adam as he is always making snide remarks at him and me. Maybe its someone Adam knows and they are just using an alias because they haven't got the balls to say anything to his face. It could even be someone Adam has ridden against and beaten on a regular basis so is jealous that he is doing ok in the national league.

If not being able to sort out a puncture by changing the wheel and gearing, as it had a different sprocket on so either the chain had to be altered or sprocket changed, comes under incompetence to you then yes i guess his mechanic was at fault. AJ is king just ignore dim the whinger. He hasn't had a good word to say abt anything to do with kent, or a lot of other teams for that fact, since day 1. The track was a joke. I'm surprised the riders didn't get seasick going down the straights, there where that many bumps in the track. Bend 3 was particularly bad in that there was a ridge halfway across the track that was impossible to miss and if you did then you would have ended up in the fence anyway. The track has gone downhill a lot in the last 2 years or so and its a real shame as the view of the track is great.

Gustix i am treating dim the whinger with the contempt he/she/it deserves. I admit my grammar isn't the best but who cares (not me). Its not as if this is an english exam is it. If he/she/it wants to get picky then why when he/she/it asked (who is this adam) did they spell his name with a lower case a and not a capital A? A case of shooting oneself in the foot! Like halifaxtiger has said you are clearly someone who has an axe to grind with adam as you attack him all the time. Your latest comment about having the crapiest bikes and crapiest attitude is laughable as it sounds like something a 5yr old would say not someone who, according to his profile, is a 60yr old man,. Next i'm expecting you to say my dads bigger than your dad so there . Anyone who knows adam can see that he is a quiet lad so how you can say he has a crappy attitude beats me! You say he still keeps falling off? But in the 3 incidents against mildenhal, 2 were into the first bend which shows he isn't backing out and being intimidated by anyone. The 3rd one was when someone dived underneath him knocking him off and everyone in the crowd, which also included some mildenhall supporters, have said the ref got the decision to exclude adam wrong. On a final note, You said 3 names who you say are dangerous riders! Luke crangs surname begins with a 'C' not a K as you put it. Or are you illiterate aswell as an imbecile?

Gustix i would just like to clarify what hackneyrocket says about adam not having got on a speedway bike till he was 12. It was the first time he had got any bike with an engine in it. He'd never been on a motorbike or quad bike before. U named 2 people who u say were late on in life when they rode a speedway bike but i would dare say they had ridden some form of motorcycle before.

Shadders trust me adam is not one to panic when getting passed. Sims caught adams front wheel which caused him to go down. Yes i will admit adam was caught out by the track, cus of his inexperience,when he fell whilst leading and he knows that. In his last heat I'm not blaming anyone for it but ben locked up and in trying to avoid him campos had nowhere to go as adam was on the outside of him and hit adam. It was just a racing incident nobody's fault. To clear something else up aswell, adam missed the 2mins for the re run as the medics were still checking him out in the pits and wouldn't let him go till they were satisfied he was ok. Nobody informed the ref of this.

Just what were your expectations of adam and sam then jim the whipper?

Thank you ash for having the good grace to admit you were made to eat your words about adam. If you come and see us when you next see adam at rye house i will shake your hand. Yes i will admit that adam did have a problem with the track 2 seasons ago, not last season, he got it into his head he couldn't ride it so we stayed away for a while and only came to rye when he was in anglian junior league action last season and it seemed to do the trick as in his first time back he won his first ride then suffered arm pump in his second ride, which is very painful, so had to back off. He then finished third in his last ride. The next time he rode in an ajl challenge match and scored a 3 ride 9pt max.
