  1. When Madsen rejoined Poole this season after riding last season on an assessed 4 point average,it was said he should have come back on a 5 point average, but if Pawlicki returns next season it is said he should return on a 4 point average when his average this season must be over 6 abroad i would have thought. The difference?
  2. Hope its on as it seems Peterborough may have had some rain over the last few days and the Poole meeting was called off apparently for a sprinkling of rain despite not having rained in the previous 24 hours.
  3. I am sure there is a few sighs of relief from the Panthers fans, don't think they want him back very fast.
  4. Apologies for being picky but that would have left a Poole v Wolves final.
  5. When they got proper averages,as you put it,there is every opportunity they could be changed on a one for one basis,Mrozcka was 6.81 at the end of august, could have got Zorro in or Kolodziej or a number of others who would have scored more than 2.
  6. Absolutely, totally agree with you. If anyone is to blame for losing the title, it is the riders and the management, maybe some riders didn't have the experience to handle it and the management made some mistakes too, putting Ward as a tac in heat 8 when he hadn't beaten an opposing rider, not putting madsen in heat 14 when he had just won heat 12,not putting Bjarne as a tac in heat 14,using him in an earlier more difficult race and most of all not dropping Mrozcka when his form dipped.
  7. You have a point with Mrozcka,it may of been harsh but why wasn't he dropped when it became clear his form had dipped and not the same rider we startred the season with, even last night,he was winning a race that was stopped but apart from that he did very little on a track he was getting near maximums every week. As for Pawlicki, its clear if he wasn't at reserve it would have been at the very least, alot closer and stopping him from riding his last meeting, using the no.8,which you can do at any time, was within the rules and good management, which makes it irrelevant whether he was injured or not, unless he needs to be injured in order to use your no.8 which my understanding of the rule isn't the case. As for the rule regarding Screen last year, that went on the 8 meeting average because we were going to re-declare,therefore it could be argued that to declare a new team for next season then Pawlicki needs to have his average amended to include the league meetings he has completed.
  8. But he did stay down and not clear the track at Brandon and he did his finger wagging at Poole to Holder, just like Ward he's got some growing up to do.
  9. Don't you know the faculty rules Bruce!! Sorry Dave just called you Bruce to keep it simple.
  10. You think getting an average higher than any brit is an achievement.
  11. Surely he will only be a 4 pointer, gotta be worth it. You are beyond help arn't you,are you sure your obsession with Bjerre isn't in a gay way.
  12. Koscuich ought to have a place too, thought he rode well.
  13. Can't remember Holder ever scoring only one point,i would get Hans back.
  14. Didn't see it that way myself,Harris was already going down before Schlein's mistake.
  15. Harris should have been excluded, terrible decision,Harris was already laying it down before Schlein even started to lock up.
  16. Maybe not all the blame rests with Bjerre but 1 point,he should have got 15 on his own track,Lindgren got paid 16 away,is this the same guy who came second in the gp.
  17. Quite right Steve, never mind it will most likely be Brandon but i don't like Swales comment that they don't need to go all out from the start,oh yes they do.
  18. The key to this meeting is the reserves, but beating Swindon or Eastbourne isn't the same as beating the Bees and the Bees reserves are as probably the best in the league at the moment, having said that the Panthers reserves are good at home so the result could hang on heat 2.
  19. I hope so,don't like Brandon, occassionally you get a good meeting there but its rare in my experience.
  20. Personally i think that Peterborough have come in to some hot form in the last week and were doing better than most have at brandon in the first leg and to beat Swindon as easily as they did containing Adams to a poor score for him must be worrying for the bees.
  21. Bjerre needs to be an inspiration and ride like the play offs mean something,a bit of team riding may help. If Iversen doesn't turn up then you can only have r/r,he seemed to ride alright in the gp,i heard he changed an engine in the middle of last nights meeting, what was that all about, surely he bought a second bike with him he was comfortable with.
  22. I can understand that but Richardson, not sick again?
  23. Whats up with Adams and Richardson not riding tonight in the pairs.
  24. I agree and have backed my hunch at 9-1 with corals, the poles arn't going to like the slick track or the rain thats forecast and the Swedes are good gaters and they are a better side than Denmark even if they lost the race off.
  25. To be fair to Kings Lynn, when the track is prepared like it was on monday,it is as good as any elite league track with facilities to match.
