Just tell them your kids are 14,its ridiculous to expect parents of 15 year olds to pay adult price. In my opinion their should be a tiered structure to pricing,under11,11-18,18-25,then adult.
How can you call it gp class when half the riders are nowhere near gp class. Its not just the venue its the quality of rider.25 quid is way over the top.
If the promotion want more people there they need to price it accordingly, perhaps they should price it when the line up is known,as far as im concerned i wont be going because its not value for money, the elrc is a much better line up for less money and the world cup was even less for 25 heats of great racing.
You cant compare coventry stadium with the millenium stadium, when your setting prices the venue has to be considered. The class of rider in the gp challenge isnt better than the elrc so it should be the same price,in fact the standard in the challenge is worse,so if anything it should be cheaper than the elrc.
But this meeting isnt value for money is it,went to world cup at peterborough 15 quid, elrc 20quid,british gp 29 quid there all better value and the racing at the gp and wc was very good.
Didnt see the meeting but it seems to me they benefited more from having Hampel in the joker race, rather than the extra 2 points, then the aussies blew it by having a last in the penultimate race.I appreciate the joker doesnt appeal to the purists but it does generate excitement.I always thought you could only play the joker on a programmed rider.
Well im not sure why the Kings Lynn track is so different now,its not just the riders because when the elite riders was there a couple of years ago it was boring to say the least, but when they rode in the elite league it was known as the best race track of all and nobody complained it wasnt fair and away riders enjoyed riding there.
I thought it was a terrific meeting and the poles, there just great arnt they. What an advert for speedway in this country, miles better than last year.I stood on the backstraight surrounded by poles and what an atmosphere they generate.I would also congratulate the organisation, although one or two more food and drink outlets would have been good.On the racing, the poles were just superb and i dont remember Miedinski riding like that before when he rode for Swindon.
Its a shame that we have a world cup roung in this country and we dont get to see our best riders, because if Rico can beat Adams at Swindon,he must be going very well and should have been included.King maybe an ex panther but hes not in the same class and has no chance of getting many points.
Bargain price compared to the gp challenge which is 25 quid,if you booked before end of june it was 15 for a world cup meeting with crump, adams, holder, sully, gollob, holta, etc 25 quid for bjerre, harris, zorro, walasek etc, price doesnt seem to relate to quality does it.
Absolutely spot on,i went to the original but fortunately waited outside as it was chucking it down and when it was rained off i was glad i hadnt paid to get in and not get a refund.this sort of behaviour by the bspa does not do the sport any favours.
Not a bad meeting but i would like to know why i cant drink a can of beer at swindon when i can at any other stadium without a problem, the place had more security and stewards than any speedway stadium ive been to any somebody ought to invest in a couple of tins of paint.
Nicki always gets booed, its panto although i think if he hadnt been such a dirty rider in the past people may treat him with a bit more respect. Ask Hans if he likes him and hes danish.
