The gate attendances are likely to increase, especially as they haven't increased admission.Sky money is a factor and sponsorship money should be more too.
Alot of PL clubs are losing money too, even Edinburgh and they are top dogs and not all EL clubs are losing money.
KL seems to be a well run club and there is no reason why it should be less profitable in the EL.
Lets not get too sensitive about a flippant remark, just a bit of fun, obviously you don't see it that way but we all want speedway at Brandon but we also like a bit of a fun at someone else's expense.
I agree but i feel the Panthers will be in the NL,Frost did say he wouldn't run in the EL without his friend Bjerre and as he has let him go to KL,i can't see how that can be changed.
Sincerely hope so,one of my favourite away tracks, good facilities, great racing, got to have great potential, can't fathom why the crowd levels are so low.
Surely a must go for most speedway fans,a fantastic servant to british speedway and a more exciting rider is difficult to imagine, just as well he couldn't gate!!
The BSPA are not bullying anybody, they have set out the rules that are to be employed and you either accept them or leave the association, they decided to leave and now they are crawling back.
Sandhu isn't standing up for what he believes in,he is trying to bully a democratically voted on association into barring the rule changes because they don't suit him.
I don't think anyone in sandbanks supports Poole speedway, not even Harry Redknapp!!
Our main sponsor is an insurance company and they are everywhere, even Ipswich.
I would have thought Poole and Coventry made money but to achieve a profit its not all about who comes through the turnstiles, its also about sponsorship, which plays a big part in any sport.
Ok thanks for the explanation,it just seems like loads of trees driving from the a14 direction, surely the point would be comparing it to Poole which is in the middle of a town, surrounded by houses and if people complain,i've not heard or seen it in the local press.
I have never understood about the curfew, local residents complaining bit with Ipswich, the track seems miles from anywhere that would be affected.
I would agree that if they went PL, a return to EL would be very unlikely, for example KIngs Lynn have no intention of returning to the EL as far as i know.
One things for sure,Ipswich speedway will have to make a decision by the weekend. They can't go to the conference not knowing whether they are El or Pl.
