Leicester V Poole Elb. 20/08/16
foreverblue replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I don't think any fan would be best pleased that their team captain and one of their best riders is missing from an important league match but it has been known for quite some time that he would be riding in the sec. Mind you if he got at Leicester what he scored at Coventry then a PL rider may be an improvement!! -

Hans was signed knowing he was due to ride the sec and it is an important championship for him. Dont blame Hans at all, blame Matt Ford for agreeing the date. -

Sec should be recognised to me said that before not just because Hans isn't availabe. Matt Ford must have known the clash of dates but accepted it as a price worth paying -
Tai's form seems to have dropped since he signed for Wolves!
-
Who is complaining one fan starts a thread about Poole reaction and now we are all supposed to be moaning. I have already said it is good and spices up the play offs which should help crowds especially at Monmore.
-
I know just find it difficult to resist! so as it is so unimportant i expect Belle Vue to be resting Zagar for both home meetings against Poole and throw both meetings. Oh wait a minute they could have rested him for the Wolves match but no they went all out for the win, knowing 4 points would go along way to securing top spot.

Bates has the measure of Garrity in my opinion and i think Ellis is close to both and improving. -
I say well done Wolves for getting him and its great for british speedway to have the world champ riding here even if its only for a short time, it spices up the play offs and will boost crowds wherever he rides home or away. Its just a shame that Kylmakorpi had to ride against Belle Vue knowing he had been sacked and put in a unprofessional performance which cost Wolves the meeting.Don't blame him just meant Belle Vue got easy points which from a Poole perpective is a little annoying.

Dont think you can call the majority glory hunters, i think we would still get decent crowds if we didnt make the play offs every year but Matt Ford knows its good business to have a successful team and he is also a fan so wants us to win as much as any fan would -

Quite agree, i said before we need to win home and away against KLynn to have any chance of topping the table, now we have the chance we must grab it -

You can quote me on that if you like. He wouldnt beat Buckowski or Hans.Unlikely Kurtz would be in heat 14, he wasnt too good in last years final.Klindt won heat 14 but we had already won the meeting so even Bucko isnt going to go all out to win that race. -
Kylmakorpi not on his euro bikes then!
-
Well that's possible and could lose tonight, Belle Vue don't need to win tonight but will need some more meetings if they to be top of the league prior to the play offs which is important so they can choose who they play and choose whether they are home or away in the final should they get there.
-
Wolves haven't qualified yet and it will probably be a much better meeting Fricke still out but Zagar back from his terrible neck burn!
-
Is Zagar back from his very seriously burned neck ? i presume Kylmakorpi is back.

Belle Vue are a top team with a top track to race on, they have no less home advantage than Poole, if as expected its a B Vue v Poole final, all the Belle Vue riders are very good at Poole and i would expect a good battle -

To pass an opposing rider off 15 metres is a great effort, Hans may not have been good at Brandon but stiil can race and pass without being dirty.
