  1. I say well done Wolves for getting him and its great for british speedway to have the world champ riding here even if its only for a short time, it spices up the play offs and will boost crowds wherever he rides home or away. Its just a shame that Kylmakorpi had to ride against Belle Vue knowing he had been sacked and put in a unprofessional performance which cost Wolves the meeting.Don't blame him just meant Belle Vue got easy points which from a Poole perpective is a little annoying.
  2. Dont think you can call the majority glory hunters, i think we would still get decent crowds if we didnt make the play offs every year but Matt Ford knows its good business to have a successful team and he is also a fan so wants us to win as much as any fan would
  3. Quite agree, i said before we need to win home and away against KLynn to have any chance of topping the table, now we have the chance we must grab it
  4. We have never been long odds on evens mostly but not odds on . Hope we face Belle Vue again, they must have some home track advantage they ride it every week!
  5. You can quote me on that if you like. He wouldnt beat Buckowski or Hans.Unlikely Kurtz would be in heat 14, he wasnt too good in last years final.Klindt won heat 14 but we had already won the meeting so even Bucko isnt going to go all out to win that race.
  6. Well that's possible and could lose tonight, Belle Vue don't need to win tonight but will need some more meetings if they to be top of the league prior to the play offs which is important so they can choose who they play and choose whether they are home or away in the final should they get there.
  7. Wolves haven't qualified yet and it will probably be a much better meeting Fricke still out but Zagar back from his terrible neck burn!
  8. Is Zagar back from his very seriously burned neck ? i presume Kylmakorpi is back.
  9. fricke isn't good enough to win heat 14 in a play off final against poole
  10. But neither riding well enough to cause us a problem, be more worried if KK was guesting.
  11. Belle Vue are a top team with a top track to race on, they have no less home advantage than Poole, if as expected its a B Vue v Poole final, all the Belle Vue riders are very good at Poole and i would expect a good battle
  12. To pass an opposing rider off 15 metres is a great effort, Hans may not have been good at Brandon but stiil can race and pass without being dirty.
  13. Bjarne looked a racer when coming from 15 metres at Coventry and getting second. He has been outstanding since coming back and at reserve is a real bonus, not the rider he was but is still better than most reserves
  14. He hasnt been enigmatic for Coventry. So why isnt the sec recognised? Its the second biggest individual tournament we have..
  15. You be in trouble from the Lakeside fans, this is our thread and your not allowed to discuss any other team on it!
  16. Yes your right and i even with my most optimistic head on i can't see us catching you, not sure the Wolves track is all that scary for us as we have some riders who go quite well there and over two legs shouldn't be a problem.
  17. Lakeside obviously decided to gift Bell Vue a point, not sure it's a great result for Belle Vue, Poole beat Lakeside with a team of PL riders!
  18. Michael palm toft guests who i have seen quite a bit of and he isn't a bad guest in my view, can be decent and exciting too now and again mainly because he isn't a gater.
  19. Schlein usually goes well at Poole but is just returning from injury was a bad choice but Wolves performance wasn't all down to Kylmakorpi's injury and Schlein's poor showing. Masters went downhill after a good start and Howarth should be cleaning up at reserve but isn't.
