I hear Belle Vue are getting better attendances this season, most likely due to the improved performance of the team and of course being in contention for the play offs definately helps otherwise they wouldn't bother would they.
Doubt if many will attend this one, not anything to do with it being important for Belle Vue to win so they will be in the play offs but more to do with the lack of opposition who most likely will roll over very easily. I certainly can't see many Lakeside fans turning up expecting to get easily beaten who have no chance of making the play offs anyway.
I dont think kings lynn are the weakest it is more even than previous years, the beauty of the play offs is we still dont know who will be the final four and its not certain who they would pick, all the teams have their weaknessess and a tricky decision awaits.
Now your just repeating what you said in a earlier post. I expect Coventry enjoyed 2010 too but it is much better winning at home in my opinion. The play offs are here to stay, it is a way of keeping the interest to the end of the season and as a fan they are usually cracking meetings in front of packed crowds.
it is important for the team to get the best position for the play offs and if it was the play off final that would be more important but it doesn't mean being top to get the best position for the play offs is meaningless or without value.
Finishing top is important but i wouldn't travel all the to Manchester for probably a wet meeting that finishes early having spent a fortune getting there when there are updates available.
Unfortunately for Lakeside their reserves cost them although fair play to Roynon who trundled round to get a valuable point that mean't a draw in the end and he won heat 12 at Wolves which mean't a win for Wolves.
I would have thought with Kennett's obvious misgivings about heat 15, if Lawson was ineligible then Bech could have done it.
Unfortunately we let them get the boost of a max in the tac ride and then Roynon came up with an unlikely heat 12 win, Charles Wright is riding very well at the moment and could easily win any reserve race.
I agree always expected a Swindon win but the margin is surprising and Poole should have won but Holder and North were poor whereas all the Robins heat leaders did their job with Zengota proving why Howarth had to go. Krcmar is a worry for them and his days in Robins colours may be numbered, have to get a double upper in maybe.
Coventry have plenty to race for, being top is important who wants to win the play offs at a away track, much better to win it at home, i speak from experience!
There has to a cut off though or you just get endless postponements and means the public still get short changed as they wouldn't refund for the original 10 heat meeting would they.
