Sheffield Tigers 2025

Hume is a very likeable lad and I am sure his family would have kept him grounded, I believe when he rode for Poole he worked for his dad when he could. I thought at the time he had potential but it seems he has found premiership level a bit tough in recent years and it will not be easy for him to score many points. -

I expect most would feel deflated after meeting him! -
I know that, that is why I apologised.
-
Looks like a pretty decent team Workington are putting together.

Post now deleted apologies for any offence.

Howarth is better than Rowe especially at Sheffield, Hume is not premiership quality, Gilkes could compete at reserve but Hume can't, not much in it between Edwards and Flint both have the talent but need to up their game. -

How do you know what position he will start at, he is second in the teams averages so that would indicate he is a heat leader, I think his average would indicate a rider of 3rd heat leader quality, especially at home, a track he rides very well, he is as good as any 3rd heat leader in the premiership that has been announced with the exception of Sheffield. -

Well i think a Poole team would be built differently to Kings Lynn but reserves win matches and KL will have the best reserve all season. You always need one good reserve which is why Sheffield will struggle. -
Danny King but I doubt he is available or Dan Thompson, either would be better than Howarth or Kerr.
-
Wouldn't want either personally.

Would Foord want to ride with Jack or Tai? -

It will be interesting to see how Kings Lynn fare against Sheffield, the trouble with the Sheffield reserves is that neither are good enough to beat their opposite number on a regular basis, they will be on the back foot after two races. The championship is a lower standard but not much lower, Lawson is a heat leader in both. -
You can stick your black hole where the sun don't shine.

Sheffield will have to make changes or Tai will be moaning again about riders not being good enough!! -

Yes very risky, reserves win matches, those two wont score many points. -

Totally agree, I like Danyon, did not do a bad job for Poole and then Glasgow a couple of years ago but was very poor for Ipswich and I would say he is not good enough for the premiership now. -
No idea why you think that, I would say Killeen has the least potential.
-
Good point, I have no idea, never been to Owlerton so cant speak from experience. Maybe to give the home team some sort of advantage I dont know.
-
The riders know the issues at Owlerton so dont race so close to the fence, if you want to risk it, you know what may happen.
-
Riders make mistakes and get injured, sometimes their fault, sometimes not, its a dangerous sport. Foord will be better with more experience.
-
As he said he isnt good with numbers!
-
Thats good news, I think Anders Rowe has alot of potential.
-
I think you are giving them too much credit. They will finish near bottom with that team. Allen is a 3rd heat leader at best, Lambert and Mountain are 2nd strings, they have no rider of 2nd heat leader quality.

Wow that looks quite a poor team, Zaine rode here before and wasnt very good, dont know about Declan but he is going to have to be very good otherwise wooden spoon awaits.
