  1. It is his attitude that worries me not his ability.
  2. Danny King getting flack again but he clearly has tried his heart out tonight and got some vital points.
  3. I can see them winning tonight and if Harris was guesting I would think with a decent lead but not enough lead to win on aggregate.
  4. Yes I can understand that point of view but considering what he has done for British Speedway and Ipswich he should be allowed a bit of slack. It is a shame because he could of been a match winner against Leicester.
  5. While Boughen is flying, others in the Oxford team are not so I think we will be ok.
  6. No thanks, dont want him anywhere near Winborne Road.
  7. Yes terrible luck but not over just yet. Sam Masters rode well at Glasgow today, Fricke has been superb lately and Becker has found form. It is Leicester's to lose for sure.
  8. Yes but this is Lindgren surely he must have a bit of leeway considering his standing in the sport. They didn't object him signing for Birmingham. I would have thought they need him as much as he needs them.
  9. I am sure Freddie would guest if he was allowed to. I am not sure how Polish clubs can stop someone from earning extra money.
  10. Oh ok I would think he would score more at Ipswich than Sheffield.
  11. You cannot question Emil's commitment to British Speedway and Ipswich in particular, Freddie cant guest for similar reasons to why Emil cant ride here.Emil rides on a Polish licence so his main employer is his Polish team and if they say he can ride, he rides. It is clear to most that it is completely different to Laguta. Boughen could be a meeting winner for this match, he is on fire.
  12. Yes I remember that, fantastic performance and great to watch as he didnt win every race from the gate. So sad that Matej Ferjan is no longer with us.
  13. You wont see many Poole fans at Leicester either but I expect Leicester to be packed just as Poole will be, these meetings will be great to watch with the riders giving their all.
  14. Great rider who gives everything every race and we all love it when he gets left at the gate, his amazing pass on Doyle at Poole will always be remembered by Poole fans, the place went wild, what a night and watching him win at Cardiff was incredible. Coventry fans will never forget his man of steel performance at Poole.
  15. Bit nasty, I am sure you do not speak for most Leicester fans who will be there in their droves for the play offs to watch a good meeting with all the riders going at it full throttle
  16. Yes that is true, it is noticeable from tv how crowds have dwindled, this can of course be lack of,on track, success and I know a fair amount turn up and dont involve themselves in how the sport is run but if more people stop going then clubs will continue to close.
  17. I know it is easier said than done but you just go along for the great racing, forget the politics and the rigging just go for the racing and support your team.
  18. Ellis said that but also said it was done for the home riders as the away riders would struggle with it.
  19. I would say that is a bonus, Douglas isn't at his best at the moment.
  20. A guest for Hagon maybe have been a better option the form he is in currently but Kerr is in good form and will be a good guest, I would say better than the rider he is replacing.
  21. I hope you win, it isnt Leicester's fault and the play offs usually provide great racing.
  22. Yes injuries are part of the sport but to get so many at this critical time of year is awful and very unlucky, it would be like sheffield losing Jack Holder or Belle Vue Bewley, these riders are irreplaceable and then apparently not being allowed to use Lindgren by his polish club is crazy. To get a draw tonight was an amazing achievement, Rew was the star, King did well considering he was riding with an injury from last night and Dan Thompson was good too but it was a shame that a cup final has to be so one sided.
  23. I feel for Ipswich, what could have gone wrong has and they are left with nothing. They will get beaten at home again.
