But that wouldn't fit with Gavan's anti Poole agenda. -

Yes I am sure you are right, early days, shouldn't judge after one meeting, Anders will be better too, I would rather riders stayed safe at this stage of the season. -

Kerr is meant to be a top rider in this league. Anders will come good, not so sure about Kerr, very impressed by Zach, top performance. -

Anders will be fine, 6 points away in your first meeting is not terrible. Kerr is more of a concern.Marson looked poor not sure he would do any better against a 2 point reserve. -

Kerr was a worrying signing for me and not a great start to his Pirates career. I agree we should have got Vinnie back, Starke did ok but Foord is a rider who is hungry for success. Anders started well then faded but I think he will be fine.Lawson hasnt been great for Kings Lynn but looked better tonight, different league I know but definite improvement. -

I think you will nick it and your debutant looks a decent prospect although wouldn't expect too much in first meeting. Looking forward to it, should be good in the Oxfordshire sunshine. -

We will make up for it! Hope it is a good meeting, don't expect to win but should be close. Neither Lawson or Masters on top form currently and we have new superstar Matt Marson! -

Be interesting to see how he goes, sure to beat Matt Marson I would imagine. -

Ellis had the audacity to beat him after a bit of jostling at the tapes which Wright didn't like I expect. -

Ok well he hasnt hit form yet like so many others, be interesting on Wednesday to see who performs better Masters or Lawson as they both struggled last night -

Dont see that, he had a really good season at Leicester but was never a heat leader. I see him as a 6 point average rider in this league. -

I think expectations are too high for Lawson he isnt a heat leader at this level. -

Klindt started last season slowly too so I would not be worried about him and we all know bomber will be fine, Kvech may be a concern but tonight you may see an upturn, hope you do, the premiership needs someone to challenge the top 4. -

Well he was fantastic for Poole and the better of the brothers. He has not started well but I think he will come good at a track that should suit him. -

Like most of the team neither Cook has performed to the level expected but I am sure they will. The most worrying is Ashton who seems to be still riding like he did at the end of last season. -
Sheffield v Kings Lynn 10/4/25
foreverblue replied to Manifesto's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Possible with a couple of changes or improvement of current team -
There is no doubt you have a good team, whether it is good enough or will need some adjustment time will tell but if I would say you need one good reserve, so maybe it would have to be a double change but to want change after two meetings is crazy, let the team settle and riders will improve. If you have riders still struggling after a few matches then maybe do it then. The other thing to consider is Edinburgh maybe better than some think.

Oxford are a terrible team and will get hammered by many teams, maybe they will improve as the season progresses but it will take a few changes. -

The NSS was boring on Monday looking at the scores. -
We are also told it was a numbers game getting Starke instead of retaining Foord but we could have fitted foord in as we are nearly a point under the limit.

In my opinion the reason Luke Killeen is at Oxford is because he is in their Championship side and they wanted him. Why is an Australian is on the rs list? -

Yes Sheffield too but always same person moaning about Ipswich and cheque book speedway.
