  1. Kjngs lynn looked like they could be challengers last season but a couple of riders didnt seem keen on staying.
  2. 3rd in the averages in not his best season! Love watching him ride, it is a sight to behold, Sheffield's track caught him out.
  3. I would agree, Emil did not have his best season but doesnt mean he is in decline! Sometimes riders have a not great season for different reasons, to repeat an old saying form is temporary, class is permanent.
  4. Some riders dont need to be injured to suddenly go missing from the team!!
  5. For Doyle, I doubt it will take him long to get back to normal. He is very popular, gives everything for his team, is a top bloke and always has time for his fans. What is there not to like.
  6. None I would of thought but he is at an age where crashes take their toll and probably why he hasnt ridden since. I think he probably feels he owes Ipswich a title and most likely this is their year.
  7. Added to the rule change which stopped Ipswich from using someone like Robert Lambert as a late replacement for a long term injury.
  8. Emil is usually a safe rider, he doesnt crash often, Doyle is more likely to crash but no more likely than most other heat leaders I would say also he is a great gater which helps.
  9. So Peterborough fans must be grateful to Buster for that!!
  10. Depends if half the team leave after a few weeks like last season. Buster has a history with riders!
  11. Personally I would have preferred Rew to Ellis, Rew will only get better.
  12. Well it doesnt matter now as he has been announced but it would be major news if he wasnt riding for Ipswich.
  13. I dont see that at all, he had some good meetings last season and he was carrying an injury so if he can get the hand sorted the only way is up.
  14. Personally I think he deals with pressure well but sometimes the track can catch you out when your not expecting it.
  15. I hope you sampled some of the local wine.
  16. It is probably about the averages rather than not wanting him.
  17. I would consider making a couple of other changes before I dropped Lawson.
  18. Massive mistake dropping Lawson, he had a very good season for Leicester.
  19. That is pretty much my thoughts although I haven't known him as long as you but I have never heard a bad word said about him, absolute top bloke and a very good rider.
  20. i would not be excited either, have you heard him sing?
  21. Are you saying Tolley does not always tell the whole truth!!
  22. And fancy having those two in the pits helping out. it looks like the same team with Ellis leaving to make way for Brennan.
  23. It is unfortunate the flak Danny gets which is undeserved, he is a very nice guy who puts everything in for the team but for some because of the amount of years he has been at Ipswich some seem to think he should be getting high scores every home meeting. He is genuine and only wants the best for the team, he did not have his best season but that could be a bonus as his average is lower than perhaps it should be. It was a sad day for me when he left Poole to rider for Redcar but that is how it goes sometimes.
