If Glasgow had got beaten it would have been how terrible the track is but because they won no mention of how bad the track was.

Terrible performance from Oxford, Masters was poor at Belle Vue but better, reserves who have been ok were awful, Kennett is clearly not up to it and Rowe showing why Poole let him go.

I suspect many feel he should have a pole or a rocket up his arse!!

Or head to the pub. If Masters performs like he did at Belle Vue on monday, the cheetahs may struggle to win this.

You start by saying you are not assessing on an individual basis but finish by criticising an individual meeting. Last night's meeting was affected by the weather and Edinburgh looked beaten before a wheel was turned, ok fair enough have a couple of heats to assess it but after that they should have been able to compete but showed little desire to do so. Last night's conditions should have suited Edinburgh or any away team as when conditions change it usually suits the away team and Redcar proved last season we are not unbeatable at home.

If Edinburgh had been up for it, could have been a good meeting, we had a lot of rain, riders from both teams went out to test it, you had to attack it as Lawson proved with the fastest time of the season.

Doyle is no Bewley but a bit of a surprise signing as you would expect Ipswich would have had him at the start of the season if he was available.

Not a great meeting, there was some passing but Edinburgh were very poor and uninterested in competing much, the track was not that bad considering the weather but only one side seemed to want to attack it.
