As it is a extra competition as most meetings were contested early season then it is fair to say the semi final and final should have been completed ages ago.

Doubt that would happen, there has been meetings in October as far as I can remember, used to be a Oct 31st cut off which was adhered to as I can remember going to a meeting on a Sunday at Poole that normally would have been rained off but they did sort it out after the rain had stopped and the meeting was run. They would not do that now as they can run meetings in November if needed.

Often happens the best teams play in cup and playoffs so there is regular fixture congestion

Yes that is what I saw but it is probably a mistake as all other sites seem to list it as the KOCup meeting.

We have had good weather in October and we have had play offs in November. Met office saying rain Friday in Redcar but sunny on Sunday so should be ok.

Never liked double meetings personally.

BSPA had changed fixture Sunday to K. O cup first leg as is on Poole website but now has reverted back to Play Off semi 2nd leg. So who is correct? Also changed to Cup on BSN now so probably its just the BSPA who dont know what they are doing!

I dont believe Jake Allen could not have guested because he was working at a golf club.

Redcar are a better team, they deserved it. Edwards tried to give it away but King and Wright were on fire.

I think they had MPT booked but considering recent performances r/r would be better but not sure why Jake Allen cant do it .

Yes it was a bit gate and go early on and if thats the case it will benefit us if we make it. Our riders will know to stick to the outside, the inside only seemed to work later on with Howarth using it to good effect.

Great meeting, great racing, with Nagel scoring zero Edinburgh should be in the final. I am sure most Glasgow fans will want Poole in the final, two reasons, One for revenge and two because probably Redcar will be harder to beat. Obviously I hope Poole make it and I dont care how much flack and abuse we receive about our track.

I would have thought any verbal abuse should have been aimed at MPT, awful performance, if he was carrying an injury he should not have ridden, no guest could have done a worse job.

Because I can't see any reason why he would leave Poole, he is happy and likes the set up, He already rides in Poland so don't see why any club would offer him big money to ride there and not here.

R/R would be Zach, Tobias and the reserves so not too bad better than a guest considering who is available. I agree that if there was a reasonable guest available that would be the best option. Hopefully Kerr will be able to ride after a weeks rest.

In view of available riders R/R would definitely be the best option, just have to hope Kerr is fit enough to ride and I havent said that much this season!

Ask Matt Ford, if Poole can do it I am sure Sheffield can.
