Yes obviously as your nearest geographically they are always your main rivals but Glasgow in recent times have outperformed them and I think there is a bit of a rivalry now between Glasgow and Poole.
Not worried just rather he did not go to a track where he is not liked, I am sure wherever he rides he will give his all, he did for Poole, we will miss him. I think if he rode at Ashfield every week he would be fine.
Well Bomber did ride for Poole once and has had some great meetings at Wimborne road including an amazing pass of Doyley and of course the much talked about man of steel meeting when he won the title for Coventry, I think if we were in the Premiership with a higher quality of rider you would see plenty of passing but in the Championship the track is set up differently to suit our riders.
I think most Pirate fans loved Tobias, good rider and great entertainer, always tried his best for us and was doing that when he got injured against Redcar, I hope he doesn't go to Glasgow, obviously not liked up there but I am sure he will do his best for whoever he has signed for.
And unfortunately the SGP2 was even worse that year, track kept breaking up, they even closed the roof to keep the heat out, unbelievable really for the UK but the next year which was very poorly attended it was much better and I thought a decent meeting. Having it in Manchester does not have the same appeal and it is a shame the sport does not seem to be able to support a larger venue more in keeping with what the event should be in this country.
