I have read it and sounds like a very long road back, honestly can't see him ever riding again but the main thing now is getting back to being able to live a normal life which we all hope for.

Oxford v Ipswich 3rd April

I think Ipswich have that, Oxford don't or they would have built a better team and r/r would be cheaper so another reason not to use a guest. -

Yes Oxford looked a poor team before PK got injured. Tac rides at home is not good and wont help much. -

That is a translation issue I would imagine.

Grand Prix Ticket Sales
foreverblue replied to Beercellar1966's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
I appreciate the economics of cancelling Cardiff but I actually thought the racing last year was pretty good and crowds would have increased whereas the previous year the racing was poor so crowds were down. The racing at Belle Vue will be good but to pay more to sit in a stand at a poorer venue is not great value. -
You would imagine Ipswich must be sick of the sight of Lambert!

Poole always tried to improve the team during the season back in the days when we were in the top league. Never saw anything wrong with it but we were always slated for doing it .

Belle Vue v Ipswich March 24th KOC

Yes it was the awful crash at Coventry, I was there and I spoke Chris Holder couple of years ago and he said he didnt think he would make it and I think a lot of us thought that in the stadium. Guests are a necessary evil because it is the only affordable way. I expect Lambert would have been only too pleased to help Ipswich if it had been allowed. -

Not quite, Hancock was not World Champion at the time and I believe his first meeting for Poole was early August. -

Morals in sport! Yes most of the trouble comes from how the rules are written. It doesn't take much for a highly paid lawyer to find a loophole. Years ago I thought it would mean more if we won the play offs and topped the final table because some would say we only won the play offs not the league but I don't think anyone cares about that anymore so all we worry about is getting in to the play offs. -
Ipswich v Belle Vue 27th March KOC 2nd leg

This fixture should be on BSN I would have thought as the first leg was. -

Ipswich were unlucky with injuries ,if you build the team around riders like Emil and Doyle, if they get injured they are irreplaceable, maybe they could of coped with one injured but both was just too much. The play offs are here to stay because they make an exciting end to the season and make a lot of money for the clubs involved. Nobody remembers the team that came top only the play off winners. -

Not to mention the year when they had to get Robert lambert in. -

It remains to be seen how he will fare over the season but I am not a Lewis Kerr fan and would rather have had Dan T who is an improving rider.
