  1. Have you actually click the link? Have you seen how Leigh Adams is doing? Did you realise just how bad his injuries were? Do you care, or do you just like sticking your nose in?
  2. Fk'sake you never give up do you. It's really an unhealthy obsession, and a boring one at that!
  3. Personally I find you an irritating knob - but each to their own aye? I was airing my view on the lack of any mention on here of Lee on his anniversary. And the other news relates to another Leigh, who was another great servant to British Speedway and the remarkable journey he's making on his road to recovery.
  4. Despite being a member of the BSF since the very early days, I rarely post on here anymore but yesterday being the 3rd anniversary of the death of Lee Richardson came on here expecting to add my tributute to an established thread started in memory of one of the nicest, decent blokes to have graced the sport. There were plenty of tributes on social media but a distinct lack of any mention of it on this, probably the biggest speedway forum on the web - a sad state of affairs. Many people on here seem to be obsessed with one team, one rider or one topic with very little interest in anything else outside of that. Surely there's more to speedway than that? Saw this posted on social media today, http://www.sunraysiadaily.com.au/story/3077221/adams-recovery-ongoing/?cs=1259 far more worthy of a read than the majority of topics on here!
  5. Because it's ongoing and ongoing and ongoing ...... YOUR ALL F*CKING OBSESSED!!!
  6. I could have, but at 10pm on the day of his anniversary I thought it a little late and possibly looked upon as an after thought Anyway, I'll let you all get back to discussing the f*ckwit who seems to be the be all and end all of the sport.
  7. Yes Trees, I've seen plenty on social media, just suprised that on the biggest speedway forum on the web, there was not a peep Darcy Ward this, Darcy Ward that.... I'm sick of hearing about him. Just pointing out that there are other speedway related topics that should be at the front of peoples minds every now and again.
  8. Do you know what? It pisses me off!! 3 years ago today Lee Richardson was lost to the sport. A decent, honest and well respected rider, I've not seen that mentioned on this forum anywhere today, yet people are still banging on about this waste of space and his catalogue of on and off track f*ck ups!
  9. That brought a tear to my eye. Fantastic!
  10. Going to Swindon last Sunday for the Ben Fund meeting made me realise just how much I miss my speedway. Could't support any other team than the Racers though, and as other Ding people have said, it looks unlikely that we'll see the sport in the town again any time soon
  11. People cutting their noses off to spite their face springs to mind. It's a benefit meeting, a fund raiser for the cause of seriously injured speedway riders, it's not a GP! It is a shame that the meeting doesn't attract more big names, but that doesn't detract from why the meeting is held. Didn't detract from the entertainment and good racing either. The line up was irrelevant for me, it was close enough for me to travel too, it's been a while since I've been to a speedway meeting so what better cause to support and get a early season fix than the Ben Fund meeting! Hope the people who didn't go because of the line up but have pledged a donation to the fund keep their word - seeing the likes of Steady, Lol Hare, Joe Owen out on the parade with the riders pretty much summed up why it's so important that people continue to support this meeting/fund
  12. Good job the Cov fans aren't judging Jamroll on today's Bn fund performance. He looked like he'd struggle in the PL, the young Finn however, looked an exciting prospect!
  13. Likewise Chalkie. A good meeting with some good racing, but bloody hell, that got cold! Such a shame this meeting isn't supported by more riders who race in this country, especially when you see the likes of Lol Hare, Steady, Joe Owen etc. turn up and show their support. I'm no Ben Barker fan, but fair play to him for being an ever present in the ben fund meetings. Such a shame it isn't so important to some of the other young brits.
  14. Sorry Norbold, bharji'd right in with that one
  15. Wonder if they were pickled, like himself.
  16. And there we were all thinking that there hadn't been a urine test. if it was actually suggested Ward do this to sober up, somebody took the p1ss!
  17. Oh come off it Skidder, do you really thing the FIM would have found him guilty and banned him if there had been any doubt over the testing? They'd have opened themselves right up to a law suit if so, and they're not that stupid. Fact is, Ward was found guilty, received a lenient punishment yet still wants to bleat about how hard done by he's been, and his audience are still waiting like yappy little dogs to lap it all up!
  18. Recently reading My Two Lives again, I thought that relationships between Hans and Erik were still frosty up until Erik's horrible crash at Bradford.
  19. Have you not seen the various incredulous comments on social media about how Ward has been hard done by? Even after admitting the offence some joe publics still still it's a big conspiracy by the FIM and other poole haters to get him. There are quite a few less than average intelligence SS readers out there who will believe anything they read and form their opinion any piece of information, true or not, that their provided.
  20. Ahh bless Magic, accepting being second best to a p1ss head!
  21. About day 26 I think. Easily done losing track though Darcy managed to do the same after his 4th pint!
  22. I don't like Matt Ford's hair now it's brown, can I join the gang?
