Be interesting to see if the BSPA do adhere to the FIM ruling and remove Wards points whilst he was still riding after being found over the limit at the GP. Can bet your life if it went in Poole's favour and reduced his average Ford would be banging on the doors at Rugby insisting the points were removed and his average adjusted with immediate effect!

Indeed great news TWK, with the lack of info on Leighs condition after his accident I for one feared the worst, knew it was spinal related and feared the worst. Great to see him gaining movement back though and being able to bear weight on one of his legs - amazing!!! A different breed are speedway riders.

You are quite right CHR. This thread is like a car crash, you can't help but look. It was active last night which is why I looked in, thought there may have been some update on a statement from the Ward camp, or the FIM etc. But no, just the same obessive's banging the same old drum (from both sides). Maybe my post was inappropriate on here, but it was a knee jerk post, you know the reason why I logged into the forum last night. I was just amazed that this is still getting so much activity. Still, this isn't helping either. I'm so over the whole Darcy Ward thing but this is just adding fuel to the fire giving some members the chance to go off on one again. No, I'm sure someone who would have actually taken the time to click the link and read the article would have mentioned Leigh. Really, your posts just go to show that you're more interested in starting arguments on here than actually reading any genuine speedway news. You and many others are obviously obsessed with Ward, my post on that particular thread was to highlight my shock really that there was no thread regarding Lee's anniversary on the forum yet people were still banging on about Ward despite the fact that there's been no news about him for weeks - it seems to me that far too many people who regularly use this forum now are only interested in anything Ward or Poole related. Hence..... in other news!!! Thank you CHR. Now please excuse me if I revert to name calling - it won't be directed at your goodself, but some people really chaff my arse on here!

My second post on here states the news relates to Leigh! Anyway, who made you the forum Police? Apart from the Ward thread other thread have I posted on that doesn't interest me? I'm keen to know what I am and am not interested in in your mighty opinion! Why would you respond to a post then if you didn't read the full content of it?

Why didn't I title the thread Leigh Adam's update? Yeah maybe I should, but I thought of it as a general thread where maybe from time I or others may link interesting general news that isn't Poole or Ward related could be posted. Even so, why didn't you click the link and read it before jumping in and stirring things up again?

Dear CHR, Thanks for your polite response. Yes my opening paragragh mentioned Rico, but was putting why I started this thread in context. Like I said, I've been a member of this forum and of it in it's previous guises for probably 15 years, but frequent it rarely these days. Probably something to do with the fact I don't have a club to support anymore, but more so because of the crap that's constantly posted on here. It used to be a source of great information/banter/friendships. Now it's a pale shadow of that and seems to be wrapped up with one or two clubs and one rider in particular (well the EL & SGP threads, which with the TV coverage is all I really have any current knowledge about these days). - They may as well be renamed the Poole and Darcy Ward sections!!! It's boring, it's uninteresting, it's obsessive!! I found a story on Leigh Adams this morning, which I thought may be of interest to genuine speedway fans. I certainly wasn't aware of the extent of his injuries, it had been kept quite quiet as to how bad it was. Yet to read about the progress he's made is amazing. So I thought I'd share this. Outcome, one of the forum's (ok I promise not to call members names in my response to you as you were so polite),... one of the forum's more active posters jumps straight on the thread sticking his nose in and trying to stir things up. That I'm afraid riles me. In response to your other comment - yes, I do think it's important to mark Rico's anniversary, I think it's important for Emma and the kids to know that he and they are still very much in people's minds, and that their thoughts are still with them. I didn't say that it show a lack of respect that there was no specific thread set up on here to mark it, was just a tad surprised when I saw there wasn't.
