Correct we could. I think in all honesty Ipswich were hoping that Lindgren would guest in place of Doyle for the play off & cup final. That was before Emil was injured, then I think everyone including the Emil hoped that he would be back in early September, he pulled out late last week of Torún’s meeting. I’ve been critical of Kings performances over the past few weeks but to be honest I can’t put too much blame on the management I’ve never know a season where you’re entire team gets injured & when 4 riders are out at the same time including your top 2. The last crisis we had like this was 1990 when Norris & Standing both got injured at Exeter. I do however think the management could have been more open about the reasons riders are unavailable.

I still remember the grand final last year. The Sheffield track was shocking during the pre match interviews & Tatums track walk it was said time & time again that gate 3 would be a grave yard in the early heats & what did King do after winning the coin toss took gates 1 & 3. We can’t over look Kings contribution during his time at Ipswich however it’s been clear that for the past 2 or 3 years he has been on a downward spiral & more interested in Danny King than being a team player. It’s time for him to move on during the winter & leave Ipswich with his legacy still more or less intact. Another season like the last couple would tarnish his Ipswich career. we need to retain Doyle,Rew,Thompson & if possible Emil next year. Ellis & Jenkins have not really done anything wrong but it’s a numbers game.

It’s either that or incompetence…..as clearly they don’t know the rule book that they helped to write -

He isn’t now due to an ‘oversight’ by Sheffield or more likely they got caught tying to pull a fast one! -

The issue is that this is clear rule breaking by the governing body for the second time in 24 hours, the other one being Harris riding on Monday. I -

Couldn’t make it up. But let’s not forget the real reason speedway is knacked in this country is the fault of the Grand Prix & Poland…….maybe instead of blaming the poles & gp we need to look closer to home. -

If there is no Emil next year then Musielak would be a good signing, although I’d have Emil if possible
