  1. Looks like Emil is back for Torún on Sunday fingers crossed he is back with us on Monday
  2. Looks like Emil is back for Torún for their next match it’s on their Facebook page
  3. I’m popping over to Foxhall with my screw driver set to tamper with the pit gate, they won’t get the spares unti the last week of October all ok 😂
  4. Correct we could. I think in all honesty Ipswich were hoping that Lindgren would guest in place of Doyle for the play off & cup final. That was before Emil was injured, then I think everyone including the Emil hoped that he would be back in early September, he pulled out late last week of Torún’s meeting. I’ve been critical of Kings performances over the past few weeks but to be honest I can’t put too much blame on the management I’ve never know a season where you’re entire team gets injured & when 4 riders are out at the same time including your top 2. The last crisis we had like this was 1990 when Norris & Standing both got injured at Exeter. I do however think the management could have been more open about the reasons riders are unavailable.
  5. Harris isn’t cup tied as he rode for Ipswich in the semi final so is available from that point of view. I suspect Kings Lynn got there first for tonight.
  6. Scott rode for Oxford last night & will be again tomorrow at Redcar perhaps he doesn’t want to ride 3 days running included a trip almost the whole length of the country for Redcar .
  7. You do realise King can only have 6 rides tomorrow unless we’re 6 down, he’d need about 10 rides to score that 😂
  8. I still remember the grand final last year. The Sheffield track was shocking during the pre match interviews & Tatums track walk it was said time & time again that gate 3 would be a grave yard in the early heats & what did King do after winning the coin toss took gates 1 & 3. We can’t over look Kings contribution during his time at Ipswich however it’s been clear that for the past 2 or 3 years he has been on a downward spiral & more interested in Danny King than being a team player. It’s time for him to move on during the winter & leave Ipswich with his legacy still more or less intact. Another season like the last couple would tarnish his Ipswich career. we need to retain Doyle,Rew,Thompson & if possible Emil next year. Ellis & Jenkins have not really done anything wrong but it’s a numbers game.
  9. It’s never been communicated from the club & if they knew Emil was out for the season it should have been made official. The last few week it feels like all the good work over the last couple of seasons has been undone. A real shame.
  10. That’s that then a season that promised so much has finally imploded with the news it’s RR on Thursday for Doyle now. That is unless a miracle happens & Emil is back on Monday for the play offs. Might be time to start the Ipswich 2025 thread!
  11. Rider replacement for Doyle on Thursday ensures that any slim chance we had has now gone. A season that promised so much even after losing Doyle now seems to be imploding & it seems like the white flag has been raised.
  12. It’s either that or incompetence…..as clearly they don’t know the rule book that they helped to write
  13. He isn’t now due to an ‘oversight’ by Sheffield or more likely they got caught tying to pull a fast one!
  14. The issue is that this is clear rule breaking by the governing body for the second time in 24 hours, the other one being Harris riding on Monday. I
  15. Even though facing Leicester might give us a slightly better chance to making the final given how well Thompson rides their place I’m not sure I’m really bothered now. Both competitions now subjected to rule breaking by the governing body makes the whole thing a farce.
  16. Couldn’t make it up. But let’s not forget the real reason speedway is knacked in this country is the fault of the Grand Prix & Poland…….maybe instead of blaming the poles & gp we need to look closer to home.
  17. It does and after all the good work they have done in bring in Emil & Doyle would leave a rather bitter taste…..
  18. Let’s just get Musielak in the side now he is as eligible to ride in the cup final as Harris is.
  19. If there is no Emil next year then Musielak would be a good signing, although I’d have Emil if possible
