  1. What a difference 70 miles makes, Ipswich the most professional club in the country & Lynn the shambles!
  2. It’s not that long ago Guy was your sponsor too
  3. Interesting meeting today. For us Rew looks to be getting better & it was good to see him trying different lines. it was great to see Hume getting stuck in a gritty display. Emil & Doyle just superb king was King looked outstanding early on & then got passed far to easily later on not sure what his beef is & missing from the victory parade is poor. Thompson while not knocking the lad I’m not sure he is ready for this level yet but he is a tryer. As for Lynn clearly then has issues but KK is a disgrace. I’ve never see so much throttling off unbelievable…..that kind of behaviour must effect his team mates
  4. Kasprzak shut off when under pressure from Rew, I think he has lost his bottle
  5. King seemed to have a bee in his bonnet after heat 15, don’t think he was happy Emil went for the win without looking for him. if that’s the case a little rich given King’s record of team riding!
  6. So thoughts on this one? It will be so good to have bank holiday speedway back……weather permitting
  7. We count our lucky stars that Buster didn’t take over at Ipswich in the end
  8. I don’t get all the hate for Tomlin on here. the guy is a businessman if he could see a long term future for the club he would have brought it doing the winter. it looks like issues came up during the winter around a new site. That could be the cost, planning permission or a combination of both. Tomlin was never going to buy a club that had no future beyond October that isn’t good business sense. Admittedly he could have kept the fans updated & come clean on the issues around his purchase falling though. if I were a Peterborough fan I’d enjoy this season & the speedway while you can. I generally wish all of you that are fighting to keep to club going all the best.
  9. The Witches did win at wolves twice last year. My thoughts this time around are how will Emil & young Rew take to monmore green along with Thompson. Wolves also seem to have side better suited to monmore this year. all in all I’m very impressed with the witches so far
  10. A great performance last night. Good to see Hume & Rew continuing to improve. I agree with Riss in the side most of our home meetings should be won by 8-10 points. The flip side is I can see us keeping it close away from home too with the possible exception of Wolves. The boys have already shown a liking for Peterborough & Leicester. Sheffield,Lynn & Belle Vue should all be to the liking of Emil & Rew. We already know that Danny,Eric & Jason love those places.
  11. The killer tonight was Danny having a poor night at the same time Riss was missing. Thompson is a huge concern to be honest Kemp would be a better bet
  12. I’d have him in the team over a journeyman like cook any day of the week
  13. Not really, Rew will be fine. It’s only his 3rd uk meeting. The rising star berth is a concern
  14. Given that we were missing Riss & Rew is still finding his feet I'm not to concerned as the early weeks were always going to be tricky. Even more so with tonight with no Riss & a below par Danny King. We possibly do need another number 7 though?
  15. I so please Buster didn’t get his mits on Ipswich. Feel for you guys
  16. I was really looking forward to the battles between KK Doyle & Emil on may day
  17. So first time since 2007 & I made opening night. I think with this team it has the feel of 98 & I’ll be back for more than my one of two visits a season. as for the team the top two speak for themselves. Emil’s style reminds me of Rickardsson. Rew will need a few meetings but looked more at home as the night went on. Hume will get Better. Not sure on Thompson as yet. my main concern is Riss and only because on the tight track he doesn’t seem fit. all in all I enjoyed my trip & I’m feeling confident
  18. I’d agree with that….and there is a far chance a large number of those will return. Looking forward to May Day v Lynn
  19. At one point Bassoracingfan was convinced that Emil was going to Peterborough, then it was Laguna
  20. Interesting how the BBC & Anglia covered it, Anglia focused on Emil & the BBC focused more on the sport in East Anglia & not a mention of Emil, both great pieces & provided great publicity.
  21. If the socials are anything to go by Emil will certainly generate interest over 8000 views of that clip on Facebook compared to 1100 for the play off final clip
