  1. Don't panic the last two are going to be Jakub Miśkowiak & either Tai or R Lambert with their nice discounts on their averages. Guy's got the cheque book out!
  2. Buster doesn't own the land. However why would you buy Peterborough speedway without having a site secured to develop a new stadium when you lose your current home? That would seem like good business sense to me.
  3. Perhaps part of the agreement of letter Lambert ride for Belle Vue in the play offs was that he'd wear the Witch in 2023
  4. Having spent the last 7 years at Foxhall you would hope that in his 8th he will finally work out the best riding lines around Foxhall.
  5. And that was on the old circuit, the more open Foxhall should suite him better
  6. Perhaps Woofy is going to be backed by Tru Plant this year??
  7. Perhaps they don't want to depress the fans too soon!
  8. Brennan would be a good signing if he is leaving Belle Vue.
  9. No chance! They might however put a track in at the London stadium to allow the mighty Hackney to return.
  10. Ipswich need to be forward thinking and bring in some new blood into the top 5. If Hume is the rising star I'm now going to contradict myself by saying we should go for Nicholls at reserve. On that average he'd be a steal especially at home & would certainly take a lot of pressure of any up & coming riders that might be brought in.
  11. Probably the atmosphere to be honest. The meetings between Ipswich & Lynn in the early mid 90s we're awesome. I remember traveling to Lynn on a cold October evening to support Ipswich in the mid 90s. I can't. Remember what the meeting was possibly the final league match but the place was full to capacity the atmosphere electric & I think Bryce & Spicer probably had the meeting of their careers for you guys that evening. The good Friday morning & afternoon meetings were also superb. Happy days!
  12. How long before we hear some team news. We seem slow off the mark this year.
  13. I can't see that. Kerr has been at Ipswich before in the championship & was disappointing. As for Cook he was the supposed bargain signing last winter & his average dropped further. Add into the equation that the 2023 league looks looks tougher than 2022. Ipswich need to be looking at young blood who can not only improve but can be part of the clubs long term future. A side with Batch,King & Cook/Kerr has far to many question marks & not enough improvement.
  14. Agree having a journeymen like cook or Kerr at 4 hints at lack of imagination/forward thinking. Personally I'd have someone else at 3 too but I really can't see King being anywhere else.
  15. I'd rather have a loyal Doyle than Dudek Madsen or Woody.
  16. It's a worry that the like of Andersen, King, Kk & Batch are all being mentioned. The club needs young blood. Personally I'd keep Doyle, Riss & Hume. Also maybe Rowe & bring in 3 or 4 new comers.
  17. I hope the KK thing is one rumour that doesn't happen. Way past his best & likely give up at the back far to often.
  18. Don't worry Trees will appear here soon to defend another bullrubbish piss taking evening in British speedway
  19. A plan to ensure you complete your season would be a great starting point!
  20. Ah tress somehow managing to defend the shambles that is British speedway. A pairs competition that they can't complete, a season opening league cup with the final in October & the league championship decided via a play off system. Even though there are two remaining league fixtures to run, one of which could have changed who finished 1st & 2nd & therefore who faced who in the semi finals & therefore who was in the final to decide the championship. But yes tress there ain't much wrong!
