  1. And not in my area of Birmingham 😠. Seems you're going to be sorted then 👍
  2. I have had that conversation with BT and my broadband speed is not sufficient to get BT sport directly - I'll just have to put up with the very frustrating buffering version using my sisters login on my laptop hdmi'd to my TV. Hopefully Shads you'll have a decent enough standard broadband speed to enable you to get BT Sports - fingers crossed.
  3. The only way I can get BT Sport is via Sky TV (which I don't currently have but could get for about £9.00 a month extra) as BT Infinity broadband is not in my area - I'm not exactly in some back water location - for the pleasure it will cost an additional £27.99 a month which is more than my Sky broadband/telephone package. If I switch from SKY to BT broadband to enable me to get BT Sport for £7.50 a month it'll probably cost me £22.00 or more for just getting TV via SKY, on top of the BT broadband costs - it's a lose/ lose situation from what I can see :'(
  4. I have to say how touching the Ricky Ashworth article is in this weeks SS - that young man's attitude and also that of his Dad should be an inspiration to us all. I'm glad to have, in some small way contributed to the new "family friendly" home. Keep up with the recovery Ricky.................
  5. Most of your questions can be answered on the Brummies Fans Forum - under Supporters Club or Fighting Fund pages, The question above could be answered by the BSSC treasurer if you care to ask her, And for the record I am not a committee member nor a club member.
  6. Yes - the club had restarted, but I believe that the money was pledged to Tony Mole at the beginning of the year and couldn't be presented earlier for logistical reasons. Once money is promised you surely cannot expect it to be reneged upon can you?
  7. 1) Why should the fighting fund have been held in an account & added to - and added to by whom? For what purpose? Why was giving the 10k to Tony Mole a joke? It was intended to assist the restart of our club and that's exactly what it did. 2) Are you saying the supporters club has made a "decent profit"? If so, your point is what? The supporters club certainly don't have a decent membership and any money made during the year funds the end of season awards night............as there is little or no interest in away travel transport anymore.
  8. Please don't build us up to be shot down - no team has the devine right .............
  9. It mystifies me why people think we have any more financial clout than the next team - we do have Tony Mole as our owner, who is renowned for being shall we say - frugal (at best)!
  10. Indeed he does ............ can you ask him to slow down bit this week please?
  11. It just gets better - Danny Ayres withdrawn from Glasgow/Newcastle play off - off to hospital with suspected shoulder injury...........
  12. It grieves me but I can't see Brummies turning round the 13 point deficit - to say our guests have been patchy at best is an understatement.
  13. Glad to have been some help in getting you there for Heat 1 Macca56 ☺
  14. Simpler to carry on to Junction 7 (Great Barr) exiting onto A34 Walsall Rd towards Birmingham IMHO. Good luck in getting there on time!
  15. Weather fine - so don't think you have any worries there. Which direction are you coming from? If motorway (M6 J7) follow A34 stay in left hand lane so you don't go over the fly over - sweep round to the left and car park entrance on the left. If coming from direction of city centre make sure you come off flyover/underpasses route before Perry Barr, you need to go straight over at Perry Barr roundabout - stay in right hand lane, following road underneath the flyover, then bear left - car park entrance on the left. Hope that makes sense!
  16. Would be very surprised if this isn't covered - they've done most of our meetings this season
  17. And he wonders why no-one posts! If & when they do stupid/negative (generally) comments are made.
  18. Why not utilise the National Speedway Stadium for a "one-off" final to decide the champions? Makes sense to me.
  19. Many Brummies fans think Danyon is the signing of the season for us - thoroughly likeable young man who seems to be enjoying himself immensely.
  20. But that proves it wasn't at the expense of "better riders" surely................ .........
  21. Did he not "qualify" to be in the British Final?
