To celebrate our step up to the Championship, the Brummies have something a little different, now available at the track shop for both home & any travelling away fans. Namely “The Brummies Rock” rock - available in two formats, there are rock sweet bags - pocket money priced for younger fans and gift bags containing rock sweets along with a stick of rock - in our team colours of course. Hopefully this venture will be well supported and the rock/sweets enjoyed by many. This is a supporter initiative to help raise funds for the club, so if you do try some, your feedback would be welcome!

Hopefully you'll see I'm neither Brian Buck nor Guitar Art...……. Why exactly are you mocking somebody who is actually trying to raise money to improve the club amenities for the junior riders? Or is it just because it's Laurence Rogers who is actively trying to get the work done? I think you'll find that it's the second "Bonus Ball" sweepstake which is taking a while to sell & that was only instigated by people requesting another! But don't let the truth get in the way eh...……...

To be fair to the guys doing the show they are more than happy to cover other teams but they need the input from other teams supporters. If you contact them I’m sure they’d welcome the opportunity to diversify the coverage to other clubs.

It is unfortunate that, as it stands it looks like the wrong call. However we have had some sharp showers and there are still several hours to go before the meeting would have been completed, so who knows...….

Birmingham March 27th starting 1pm for press only (supporters admitted from 1.45pm for Birmingham riders fund donation)

There was an allocated space for the Bulls/juniors - however it was FAR from ideal - hence why it is being addressed.

There is an interesting thread on the Brummies fans forum in relation to the club asking for volunteers to join working parties to help spruce up the track/stadium/riders changing rooms & coming up with initiatives to raise funds to build a proper pits area for the Development League riders. The thread was started by a "fan" who is offended by the begging nature of the requests for help, so I thought I'd put it out there to see what the general consensus is - would you be offended if your club asked for this kind of help or would you be happy to roll your sleeves up/put your hand in your pocket? Personally I have given my time to the working parties campaign this year - when work shifts has allowed - and did many weekends pre season last year too. The club provide tea/coffee/biscuits by way of a thank you to those who turn up to help with track spruce up. Thoughts...……….
