Poole riders may have posted pictures that may have been inaccurate but the fact remains there was no pipe burst and BV are still yet to publicly deny that their 2 ht leaders had missed their flights!
At the end of the day we all know why the meeting was called off.
Something along the lines of Premier gets precedence unless its a re arranged fixture in which case whichever club published the date first gets the rider. I feel sorry for Doyle in all this as he's lost out on a good payday at Somerset tonight.
To be fair we southerners all get a bleeding nose coming up to your sh*^ty little northern track. Tried it once and won't do it again.
Looking forward to coming to the new one though.
I would say that the SCB sent the referee as a direct consequence of rider/official complaints/tweets but the inquiry is as a result of the Referees report. The fact that they are holding an inquiry after the refs' visit would suggest that something was amiss.
I suspect BSI have picked Bomber purely on a marketing basis and nothing to with form. If it was picked right now on form then the best Brit after Woffinden would be Eddie Kennett.
I've gone for a straight Workington win no handicap @ 13/10 (a courageous decision, I know). Will probably do some in heat betting (the winning ones will, of course, be refunded by SkyBet on the grounds that a rider changed the colour of his boots lol).
What Mick has missed is that most of us just have a punt to make what might otherwise be a boring TV meeting a bit more interesting.
PS Have a look at bet 365 offer for Real v Dortmund, must be money to made there.
