In which case he is witholding his services which results in a 28 day ban and a facility for Redcar and Poole. Same result whatever scenario. -

Really? Perhaps you'd be good enough to provide a transcript of what was said by who and when, since you obviously know more than the rest of us! -

Nice to see you too Unfortunately I cant do Redcar and if The Rebels qualify cant do Edinburgh on the Friday either (still 3 visits there is enough for one season I think). -

Wouldn't want North anywhere near Poole thanks. Another one that leaves his brains in his toolbox!!

Congratulations El Champions Poole

I see your point, just think Gavan went a little bit over the top and fair play to the bloke he did apologise after. We could do with a few more The Knows across the country though. -
Congratulations El Champions Poole

I'd hardly class The Know as a jumped up no mark. He's done quite a bit for speedway in the past and has done quite a lot for a young Brit this year. So a little more civility required I think even if you don't agree with any of his posts. -
I don't think most Poole fans do Gavan. We experienced a drop in attendance when we dropped into the then National League, but crowd attendances were soon back to normal once people realised the racing itself was just as good to watch and I'm sure that would be the case if the big boys don't ride next year.

Trying to book tickets online for Monday but no answer on the number listed they are just cutting the call off. Anyone else having a problem? -
Any rider is available to any club as the past has proved.

In that case you are wrong in saying the steward was relieved of his duties I think. The bloke concerned only packed it in this season. I also agree with a previous poster that you remove the aggressor first and deal with the rest after (I've run pubs in Poole and that's how we used to do it). However I would agree with you, having been there that night and heard the poor lad screaming, that crowding round and taking photos was very out of order.

Poole V Birmingham 1st Leg Grand Final
Pirate Nick replied to pirateandi's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Great meeting last night, with the Pirates in imperious form. Wards pass of Harris in ht6 was amazing to watch from the track, it looked like he just went straight through Harris and out the other side (watching the replay on the screens in the glass stand dispelled us of our opinion the he was using the Dark Arts though)! MOM JG was very good value, great race with Rebels team mate Jason Doyle and will do well in the Elite (if there is one) next year. God knows what happened to Smolinski, definitely not the same rider the rode in the GP Challenge. Looking forward to a great night out with Bluejam next Monday (not so much the hangover that is going to come with it though ). Of course the most important point is obviously that the Gavan and Shovvy show will be here for another week! -
