Belle Vue Aces Vs Poole Pirates 28/04/2014
Pirate Nick replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Win or lose it makes no odds to me I just like to see good speedway. It may or may not have cost Poole the points tonight but my real problem is I just dont like to see a young Brit who could go places getting in to bad habits. If he wants to make it on the international stage he needs to stay still at the start. Refs arent so lenient at international level. He probably needs to get out of the prem and get some rides on the continent as well. -

Cook was clearly rolling in 2 of his heats, if you cant see that then you need the same optician as the ref. -

So Cook starts a foot back from the tapes, is clearly moving before they go up, needs to learn or will get crucified at international level refs obviously blind!! -

Easy Mike, he's a friend of mine who watched me win money on Darcy at Lakeside when I looked dead and buried, hence the devil remark. He's just having a laugh. -

Been caught out a couple of times with this new format and being a bit careful because it's not my money. I'll be on it next week as I'll be sacrificing a goat on Sunday -

Funny you should say that. Matt gave 10 of us £50 each to make some money for Julia's House https://juliashouse.org . I've invested in Bet 365 and have got it up to £191 not including the original £50. It's a very worthwhile cause so if anyone feels like donating a couple of quid you can do so via their website. -

Spoke to a few of those concerned on the Wednesday after the meeting and that is exactly what happened, the riders were asked and said to give it a go. -

What actually happened was that Middlo spoke to the riders and asked them if they wanted to give it a go and the team said yes, so the decision was made by the team not Middlo. Apologies on a postcard please. -

That would be successful multiple league and cup winning cheating scumbags, thank you -
Had a discussion about this at Somerset on Friday and someone mentioned that they thought the rule may have changed. He thought, although he wasn't sure, that the wording of the rule may have changed to "28 day replacement or until fit" maybe SCB would know as he seems quite well up with the rules?
