Poole Pirates Vs Coventry Bees 21/5/2014
Pirate Nick replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Well what can you say. Poole let that one slip. 12 pts up and to lose the meeting is disappointing to say the least. Fair play to the Bees they came back well and deserved the win. If they can replace Fisher could be potential play off finalists. As far as Gavan et al are concerned, he who laughs last laughs loudest, just remember boys this is a qualification for the play offs, you only have to finish 4th. Positive note from the meeting was Darcys form. Absolute dynamite and a pleasure to watch. -

I think he meant that if he has no mathematical chance of winning the series. -

Interesting comment. I read the twitter feed concerned and what I read differs somewhat from your post. What I read was Middlo saying he thought outside assistance meant people assisting the rider by pushing or touching his bike. What then followed was a decent twitter debate on the ins and outs of the rule. -

I wouldn't worry about the good people of Eastie too much. Looking at the crowd, it's only Dugard and his immediate relatives that look to have turned up -
Ah sorry, was watching at the stadium during the Poole meeting and missed the last 2 heats.

Not sure why people keep mentioning the Nicholl/Kildemand incident. For me it was a totally different scenario. Kildemand falls in front of Nicholls and Nicholls, with lightning quick reactions, laid it down.

As I posted before I think he had a sudden rush of blood to the head and is probably guilty of misjudging how much room was there. As I said I don't consider Cookie a dirty rider, I just think he wasn't thinking.

Got a copy on Wednesday night, have watched it several times and Cook is clearly at fault. Hope that puts your mind at rest

What a load of b0ll0cks. Keyboard commandos who clearly have no idea, especially surprised at El Addio who up to now I thought was quite a sensible poster. -

Rene looked fine at the back end of the meeting and was on the pace but had no straight line speed in the first half. Brady had a win then a 2nd at a track he'd never seen before then a fall and a duck not a bad effort. -

Still Brady for me though. The lad has a very old head on his shoulders. Thinks his races through and reminds me of Darcy when he started. Not knocking Mason but he's not in the same league IMO. -

And the Aussies are taking Mason Campton to the U21's and not Brady??? -

Just quietly confident. -
IMO Cookie was rightly excluded as the cause of the stoppage. As far as dirty riding goes I think he's probably guilty of having a sudden rush of blood to the head and maybe a lack of judgement, certainly doesn't make him a dirty rider in my book.

Can't see what the fuss is about. Appeal goes out you either give or you don't, nobody is twisting your arm. No harm in asking I always say. -
You're forgetting that the Pawlickis aren't your average Poles in that they started riding on a short technical track that their dad built near their house. I don't think Lakeside will faze them.
