Mick must have money to burn, or confident that he can make up his legal costs with a sympathy collection at the track.

Somerset V Ipswich 24/07/15
Pirate Nick replied to rustyre bel1's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Probably be a quieter night in the clubhouse though -
Ah well there you have it. Irrefutable proof cos John Cook said so. 😂😂😂😂

Prepared to ride, I wouldn't think anyone was happy about it.

You obviously have never met the man. One of the straightest people I have met within the sport. Always open and honest. You need to get that Poole chip off your shoulder.

I think it was Napolean who once said "never interrupt your enemy when he's making a mistake" -
Cardiff Saturday 9th July 2016
Pirate Nick replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
10 mins walk and £22.99 for the night. Facilities not all that but the alcohol intake on Sat renders that irrelevant. It's a bed for the night. Got out and had brekky in the Prince of Wales and a walk down to Cardiff Bay. Probably back next year but hope the racing improves. The company was great! -

Quite a sad individual really. Still if it wasn't for people like him we wouldn't know we are normal:) Well impressed tonight with the Pirates fighting spirit. Almost got there but have to be happy with the point. Robert Lambert, what can you say? Awesome last ride. Hope the lad goes on to fulfil his potential. -
I believe Mauger got his gold bike for winning 3 Consecutive titles not just for winning 3 titles.

I might give them a go on the lottery this week

It was a perfectly readable league table when I pasted it to the post, don't know what happened there? 😂

Peterborough V Plymouth Pl 28th June
Pirate Nick replied to bigcatdiary's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Looking at the BSPA website, Somerset are still showing Benji Compton in the side therefore Greenwood is not currently in a 1-7 and is not eligible to guest? -
No, but they are both tracks where Somerset could potentially pick up points. So a bit of extra practice can't hurt.

Maybe he was worried about being seriously assaulted if he scored too many points 😨 -
The Dilemma Of Greg Hancock
Pirate Nick replied to Grand Central's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
IMO Hancock was out of order and has rightly been fined for his behaviour (great to watch though ). As far as Nicki goes, Nicki p does what nicki P does and sod everyone else. Im sure hes in a number of riders 'little black books' and sooner or later he'll reap the 'rewards' of his on track exploits. As has been posted before there have been far harder and dirtier riders in the past, its not a new thing. My only issue with Pedersen is that in all the times ive seen him off another rider ive never once seen him go back round to see if his victim is ok. -
Poole Pirates Vs Coventry Bees 17/6/15
Pirate Nick replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
But at least Robbo is a trier unlike Anderson last night, who's only effort went into nicking a point off of Robbo. Well done Hans, good effort 😂
