Could Woffy Be Making An El Return?
liam replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
From watching the programme the life of tai you could really see how much the travelling and tiredness was affecting him as the season went on. Not sure why anyone would put themselves through that if they don't need to, he's putting himself and family first like we all do. How can people knock him for that? -

How does anyone know about a deal the BSPA and Sky supposedly put together? What club was he going to ride for? Is this just another made or story or is this actually true? -

Would British speedway look after Tai if he injured himself and couldn't ride again? It's a short career and I'll not have a pop at anyone for wanting to make as much money as they can in a short career when they are risking their life every race. I think he should ride in the British final but he's not, it's not really the end of the world. -

So Tai is going to be running some training schools in Britain this summer he has just announced. -
I couldn't tell you as Iam not walking out my front door
-
Still raining, terrible decision to call it off early, bet everyone would rather be standing in the rain right now at the track.
-
Perfect track conditions where? I live a mile from the track and it's been light rain since 15.30.

Can't say I blame him for not riding over here in the league but the fact he can't be bothered with the British championship says everything you need to know really. Either way I don't really care about him. -
I feel like this is all I ever say but who really cares
-
It was announced two weeks ago at Lakeside the meeting was being moved.
-
Does it really matter though? If the fixture goes ahead with 7 Lakeside riders and 7 Wolves riders surely that's better.
-
I would personally rather see two teams without guests or R/R.

Lakeside V Poole Ela. 8/04/16

Yet people still say it's an awful gate and go speedway track. Glad to see a neutral giving the place some credit. -
Think it's because both Lawson and Kennett are unavailable and possibly someone from Wolves but not sure who, Iam sure that's what Cook said during the Leicester meeting.

That is exactly what is happening, just had no speed. He scored well against Kings Lynn on a dusty track with hardly any overtaking but been very poor since. He's not even close to being on the pace. Really enjoyed that, AJ at the minute really is top class and I would pay the entrance money just to watch him to be honest. Good job by everyone except Mear obviously who is struggling badly. Good to see both Kerr and Bridger get it together after shaky starts. Bridger's last two rides was class just flying around the fence. Hope that's the start of things to come for the revolution boys. -

How would they be able to do that? Are they going to plaster your face over every track -

I would imagine that might only be another one or two poor meetings away from happening. -

Really tough to call this one, the Lakeside top five have been looking good at home but Kerr hasn't seemed to get dialled in yet and Mear looked great against Kings Lynn but poor against Leicester. The reserves could well decide this meeting and I hope we manage to get a win but it could be really tight. If the track is prepared the same as last week hopefully we will see some great racing. -
Poole Pirates Vs Lakeside Hammers 6/4/16
liam replied to Shaleshifter's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Iam pretty sure Cook said on Friday the Kennett will be in for Lawson. Big call because Lawson looks really impressive so far this season. -
Decent meeting but AJ was different class, the pass around the outside in heat 13 followed by the cut back in heat 15 was worth the entrance fee alone, top class. All the top five did what they had to so it was a job well done. Kerr and Mear need to be better when Poole are in town. That's the best I've ever seen Ellis ride the track, well done to him, Poole will take some beating at reserve this season.
-
So Middleditch has improved him that much in the one or two meetings he has had for Poole? That man really is a genius
-
He doesn't like the Lakeside track he's said that plenty of times. He did ok for us away last season.
-
I honestly think Lakeside should get close to 60 points.

Solid performance, Nilsson was superb but always is at the raceway. It was good to see Mear perform so well after a long time away. The track didn't suit AJ or Bridger with nothing on the outside, that's the only problem with the early meetings when the suns out. Kerr seemed a bit all over the place but will improve.
