If having a seat to sit on at Rye is a whole lot better then fair enough I won't argue with that but let's be honest I have seen Rye fans moaning about how poor the racing is and also seen them slating the promotion for not having a clue so I hardly think it's all singing and dancing over there. I have changed cars lots of times just like I have my shoes and clothes and even my women but I would never change the team I support they are in my DNA and Iam sure 99% of people are the same. The only way we will really find out is wait until next season if Lakeside do go back to the top league.

I can't believe any loyal fan of any sport would go and support another team because the facilities are better or the manager comes across better. I can't get my head around people just jumping from one team to another, maybe that's just me.

I agree I would prefer championship aswell. I hope Edwards does ride at Buxton I have enjoyed watching his progress and he has had some cracking races with Nathan Ablitt before the main meetings this season, I think it's Nathan Ablitt anyway lol.

I have enjoyed the national league a lot more than I thought but would obviously love the club to move up to championship or premiership. Iam sure any true Lakeside supporter who did go to Rye would come back and support there local team. When is Jason Edwards going to get an opportunity?

I don't see the need for Cook to be there either, Tatum is the manager why does it need Cook? Don't remember Douglas going to away meetings and he used to be at nearly every home meeting in his first year or two as promoter.

Lakeside have been terrible away for ever so I don't think it's you HAMMER 180 but I do agree we could do with replacing Laurence and Cousins.

Laurence and Cousins need replacing if at all possible.

I have been very impressed with Locke he has improved a lot and like you said he is a real trier. Cousins is the weak link though.

If you're enjoying it at Rye and it's better than Lakeside then happy days Kev Iam pleased for you. I am enjoying myself watching Lakeside this year and I never thought I would be saying that as I was 100% dead against National League racing but it's much better than it was last time I saw it. Iam glad I gave it ago as Lakeside are my team and hopefully will be for a long time with or without Cook, I personally was going to give Rye ago but just couldn't go and support another team in the end.

That was probably one of the only afternoon meetings I have enjoyed at arena, some good racing throughout. I guess the problems Laurence had with his bike meant he was on his second bike for the meeting as he was well off the pace. No disrespect to Cousins but surely we can get someone better iam not sure I have seen him pass anyone this season. Some good team riding by Hurry to help Bowtell get his first two wins and Morley was different class once again.

I was going to give rye a try this season but I've not read good reports about the racing so couldn't really be bothered to do the drive.
