  1. A 2.0 point average would be great, but even on a 3.9( inc the 2.5% reduction) would be worth a go at reserve. If he moves on like Brennen did this season, at worst you'd have Brennen or Newman dropping down to reserve, although would expect him to stay at reserve with Edwards all season.
  2. Thanks, you were unlucky, my accuracy rate is normally about 50%.
  3. He lives in Germany, but is English and rode for us a few years back in the NL with great success. Been riding in Germany with his brother since, along with going to university. He was made an Eastie asset this year, not sure what average he comes in on, maybe a 4, but think he's at a level above Wood and Bowtell.
  4. Don't be silly, speedway fans moan, surely not.
  5. It's the presentation do tonight, imagine they'll be some announcements there? Think the team will be something like Hunters suggestion, but have a feeling there maybe a surprise or 2, always had a feeling Nick Morris might figure somewhere, and now Sheffield have gone up maybe Danny King if we want or have to shuffle heat leaders. Think we'll still be weak at reserve away from home which is the norm for us, but whoever they choose will probably stay there all season and be strong (ish) at home.
  6. Perhaps an intermittent bad attitude?
  7. Has been offered a ride subject to agreement with the parent club (Poole?). Probably come down to where he wants to ride, if Poole approach him may prefer to go back there, but if he feels more valued and settled at Eastie and a guaranteed ride at whatever points limit maybe he'll stay at Eastie, nice position for him to be in considering last season's start, and really his choice no matter who the parent club is.
  8. With rose tinted glasses unfortunately. Not a Poole fan, but please use the points on a up and coming rider who's got a long term future.
  9. Never really been Eastie's way to chop and change, sometimes to their detriment, and keeping Tom is like keeping family disregarding his starting average, can't think they'll be any Eastie fan who's not pleased. I do believe as long as he stays fit and well all season he'll finish around that average which would be an achievement for him.
  10. I did log it and thought I'd just remind others ( tongue in cheek post, bored on a wet day)
  11. 42.5 every season, all season, every league and leave it alone, everyone will know where they are at the beginning and end of season, and can team build straight away.
  12. Well done Leicester, best team from day one this season, and showed how to defend a lead in the playoffs, primarily no panic and certainly in the early heats no last places. One extra shout to Ellis Perks fantastic season, hope the upward momentum continues.
  13. If he wants to ride for Eastbourne he will get it, who wants to employ a rider who doesn't want to ride for you, that said if he wants to go back to Poole thats where he'll be.
  14. As usual it'll be down to where he prefers to ride, which I imagine would be Eastbourne. Liked by the fans and must feel at home after last season. Must be so much easier walking back to an environment you know and have enjoyed and being fairly sure you'll be there for the season.
  15. Very true, back in the day the Elite league truly was, just at little old Eastbourne, one week Pedersen riding against Crump, then Adams, then Rickardson, sometimes both and even the other heat leaders were generally top international riders. Just a shame we'll never see the like again.
  16. I think you'll find that's a fact actually, as stated in the flat earth society.
  17. True, Nikki Pedersen won his 3 World Titles whilst riding at Eastbourne and always said riding there and places like Wolves improved his ability on larger tracks.
  18. So has Shovlar, certainly nothing to brag about.
  19. There we are then, sorted inside an hour, 42.5 limit, set for 2 seasons, done and dusted, disregarding how many teams Will never happen though, far too simple .
  20. Agree and set it for at least 2 seasons, no faffing about at the end of next season making team planning easier.
  21. Because he's British, or his injury this season?
