In All years I have known at Ashfield there was at least a £3 charge for meet the riders and has been said donations sought previously for P&P part of day - used to have meet riders away from stadium eg eagle lodge with bar charging £2 for can of coke - reality is if you don't want to pay it just don't go simple as that - personally makes sense having 2 events much closer together and avoid coming to ashfield at say 2pm for couple of hours then going home then returning to meet the riders at 7pm imo

Good for you but I think your missing the point - I pay in advance even though less overall than you but how should I receive it regularly on a monday - if they can get in shops for Thursday then why not to subscribers - net result is they will lose out as I'm thinking of cancelling my subscription and picking up the occasional copy from Tesco as opposed to 52 issues a year - only one loser there - Pinegen I believe it is Saturday 18 March for p&p not sure of time not heard anything about meet the riders bearing in mind many will be rider in ben fund meeting on 12 March Yeas very lucky - my subscription started on 1 October 2016 & i've had it on a thursday twice majority come on saturday or monday (last 4 weeks ) really not acceptable to pay by DD in advance to get such a poor service

Again you pay full price - subscribers get a discount but get 3rd class service - if they can deliver to newsagents in Paisley on a thursday why not houses its not rocket science??

Subscribers in Scotland don't seem to get their copies until Monday so spill the beans - its becoming a joke - what is the incentive to subscribe??

Sorry don't think its harsh at all - unless you are retired or work for a tolerant employer most need to book time off well in advance especially where I work - we can't all get time off our work without advance notice

What kind of state is our sport in? I emailed Peterborough to establish if the date for 4's had been decided as I wanted to book a holiday around the whole weekend - shamed to say Peterborough have advised the BSPA have not given them a date yet (not blaming Peterborough) - when will we ever think about the long suffering dwindling number of fans our sport has - i accept lots of teams have a lot of juggling about before full fixture list comes out but this is one of the seasons big events - I enjoyed it last season but looks as though the event will lose more than just me and Mrs for not getting date sorted this early - rant over

can any berwick fans help me out - when did bandits move to wooler or was it ancroft and is any of track left..can you advise how long they were there for and how long they were in elite league under terry linden...just curious been holidaying in area recently and fancied taking a trip to see what was left ???could someone give me directions for next time i'm in area??

my 1st meeting Paisley Lions V Birmingham 41-37 don't have programme to hand but paisley mainstays were the sheldrick brothers sid & mick & brummies had arthur browning & george hart...as everyone says the bug definately bit & remains to this day..now take my kids to ashfield most weeks..fond memories indeed !!!
