  1. Well on a positive note, fans may return to the terraces, on a saturday night without the option of sitting in watching the grand prix.
  2. who realy cares about some words in a magazine, pointless article.
  3. 1. Ashworth 2. Edberg 3. Complin 4. Bellego 5. Alden 6. Barrett 7. Dyer Nae idea if that fits, but that's my ten pence worth.
  4. Hmm i think the word you are looking is Jealousy! We have a polyfoam fence (first in the premier league) Have had and FIM event (hopefully more to follow) And correct me if i am wrong....but the first team to ever use covers in this country. Hardly something to moan about is it?
  5. Judging by the over 2000 crowd then yes is the answer to your question.
  6. Forget about practice.....keep the covers on for as long as possible, to give the meeting the best chance to go ahead....mind it will be a miracle if its on the night...its to hoof it down at 7pm.
  7. As long as it aint a monsoon at 7pm it will be on im sure.
  8. What is the start time if this needs to be re-run on the sunday?????
  9. Ward will be straight in next season, the court case hanging over him maybe had summat to do with him not being in it this year.
  10. Best get the covers on! it's gonna piss it down on saturday!
  11. Take the pairs to Newport for a change, somerset have had it for 5 years let someone else host it. Newport only 15 mins on the train from cardiff.
  12. Why??????? personally i would rather see some legends do a couple of laps round there ie the likes of Hans Neilsen, Tony Rickardsson, Jimmy Nilsen, Mark Loram, Billy Hamill etc etc etc etc!
  13. Nice post Topsoil, i agree the hotels are what i would call shafting the general public for cardiff just making more and more profit every year! as soon as something is a great success then what do they do yep kick you in the nuts! I wis cracking to a bloke at the pairs on the friday night and asked him if he was gan to Cardiff the following night and he simply said he wasnt cause he couldnt afford it! and i bet he wasnt the only one! The way things are going with the economic meltdown if they aint carefull your true speedway fans will no longer be able to afford it any longer thus the grand prix will go the same way as football and will be only the prawn sandwhich lovers will be able to afford it!
