Yes, against teams who are not fighting for a play-off place, but those who are (Sheffield and possibly even Redcar) will want to come before the cut-off date, I would think?
-
Off the top of my head: HOME: Sheffield, Redcar (twice) and Workington. AWAY: Sheffield and Workington. PLUS the KOC match with Glasgow (home and away) to arrange.

Current Assets For The Teams

A contract isn't worth the paper it's written on these days. From both a promoters and a riders perspective. -
Workington V Scunthorpe 05/08/17 7:00pm Champ.
StevePark replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Copied and pasted from the Workington Facebook page: Late on Thursday night Rob Shuttleworth informed us he was stopping riding in the SGB Championship with immediate effect. He stated that it was unaffordable for him to continue and despite many attempts to contact him to discuss the situation and offer solutions he does not wish to return the calls. Due to the team line up deadline passing we cannot replace Rob in our line up so will be using guest riders for the remainder of the season. Buxton's Tom Woolley will take the number 7 jacket tonight against Scunthorpe. -

Don't think that's the case, I think that they can't have new assets, but if they had already got them they keep them as assets, but I'm sure someone can confirm. See here: http://www.speedway-forum.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=81156&page=1 -

Without Robert Lambert.....

Should the title of the thread not be something like "Women riders in speedway"? Women in speedway leads me to think of the likes of Margaret Vardy, Barbara Horley, Gail Godfrey, Debbie Hancock, Joan English etc., etc., and that's just the UK.

Capacity Of Uk Speedway Stadiums
StevePark replied to mickthemuppet's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Cardiff has one big advantage over every other speedway track in the UK - it has a roof, which means it's guaranteed to go ahead. So, in thinking about moving it, it would be a major factor. -

Was that (entirely) Newcastle's fault? I don't think so. -

If you live in Workington (or somewhere near), which way did you go home? 2 and a half hours to get from Newcastle to Workington? -
We came up with three names that could 'fit the bill,' two whilst standing waiting for the ambulance and one just after we had set off after the meeting: Jake Allen and Stu Robson (as already mentioned) and one who (I don't think) has been mentioned and that is Nicolai Busk Jakobsen
