  1. Eleven, actually, but I see where you are coming from regards fixtures. Start later? Finish earlier? It's not rocket science!
  2. Cheers for that. As ruffdiamond says, it's as clear as mud on the website (SGB).
  3. I think Ash is at reserve until 1st June (so Berwick away on the 2nd).
  4. Newcastle: Kevin Doolan (guest), Ludvig Lindgren (captain), , David Howe (guest), Tero Aarnio, Matthew Wethers, Carl Wilkinson, Ashley Morris Redcar: Ben Barker (captain), Jonas B Andersen, Tobias Busch, Matej Kus,Theo Pijper, Mikkel B Andersen, Jordan Stewart http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100881
  5. Local derby time. Redcar website is currently not working & the Diamonds website is telling us about Josh Embleton's exploits in the week just gone. Hopefully, team news to follow shortly....
  6. Press release on the Comets website says " “Naturally we thank Bradley for his great efforts on our behalf in the few matches that he has raced for us where he proved to be a good team member who was popular with the fans. However, he was always going to be a short term solution and has other plans moving forward, so we were fortunate that he was available when we needed him." So, reading that, BWD was not going to sign 'full-time' as he had 'other irons in the fire' ?
  7. Yeah. Josh rides for the Newcastle Gems in the NJL.
  8. Not many options, sadly, as he is based up here in Newcastle! Glad to hear that fans appear to be impressed by him. He's a smashing lad and just needs an opportunity to ride regularly to improve.
  9. Campton back. http://www.workingtoncomets.co/news/article.asp?id=100954
  10. Matty drops to reserve from 26th May (GSA 4.00) and Ash moves into the main body (1-5).
  11. I think it was always going to be a few meetings for Matty to 'get back into it' as it had been a while since he last rode a speedway bike. Hopefully last night was that night it happened and his scores will be somewhere near to where he and indeed the fans want them to be.
  12. Lewis hasn't retired. He is taking time out from the sport. There is a big difference.
  13. That was for last night at Peterborough, unless they've agreed to do tonight as well (it was Jonas B Andersen last night).
  14. Lakeside vs Edinburgh. The other meeting tonight is Berwick vs Sheffield.
  15. Teams as announced on the Diamonds Website: Newcastle: Lindgren (c), Stuart Robson - rider replacement or guest, Manzares (guest for Rose), Wethers, Aarnio, Wilkinson, Morris Berwick: Aaron Summers, Nikolaj Busk Jakobsen - Rider replacement, Dany Gappmaier, David Howe, Kevin Doolan (captain), John Lindman, Jye Etheridge, number 8 to be confirmed. Doubt Manzares will be guest as he's been injured at Scunthorpe tonight. So much for the team "for the future of the Diamonds." !!
  16. Might be a change to the Newcastle line-up, as Manzares has been taken to hospital after a crash at Scunthorpe tonight. I don't envy GE's task of finding a suitable replacement.
  17. Teams: Panthers: Nicholls, Grondal, Lunna, Palm Toft, Ostergaard, Lambert and Bacon Diamonds: Lindgren, Manzares (G), Jonas B Andersen (G), Wethers, R/R for Aarnio, Wilkinson and Morris. P/boro website preview here: http://www.peterboroughpanthers.co/news.php?extend.3366
  18. Are we actually signing rider(s), or just having a look at one (or two)?
  19. He scored 15+2 from the number 5 position for Newcastle there last week, so don't know how that makes you weaker? !!
  20. No negotiations necessary really. It's a challenge match, so we could use seven guests if we want (providing Berwick agreed). The only thing would be is when the team has to be declared, even then changes could be made (again with Berwick's agreement).
