  1. The programme has Willie Dish as Referee, but I didn't hear if that had been changed.
  2. Pretty much a spot on assessment, although I might not 100% agree with you on your last comment. Had it not been for Tero's puncture whilst leading heat 15, we would have got a point that we deserved. As far as the Ludvig arguments are concerned, he is what he is. Accept it, move on.
  3. Heat times (well most of them!!): Ht 1. 72.6. Ht 2. 76.2. Ht 3. Awarded. Ht 4. 75.7. Ht 5. 70.7. Ht 6. sorry, didn't get that one!!
  4. Now on Diamonds website: http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100886
  5. As I have said on the Peterborough 2018 thread - it depends on what his foreign Longtrack/Grasstrack commitments are.
  6. Can anyone confirm that Matej Kus has signed? (As quoted by bringbackhalifax).
  7. It would also depend on his Longtrack/Grasstrack commitments abroad and how many potential Peterborough fixtures he would miss.
  8. Which is what I hinted at earlier. If people care to remember, we used two guests at home to Sheffield (Michael Palm Toft and Lewi Kerr), making the Ipswich match irrelevant to the 28 day facility. The BSPA must have given the 28 day facility after the Ipswich match.
  9. I think you will find Dandelion is a her!!
  10. So, how come when the team for the home meeting against Berwick was sent - 1) the BSPA didn't say 'no' to the line-up 2) Berwick speedway didn't protest against the line-up and 3) the Referee for Sunday's meeting agreed that the line-up was OK.
  11. According to the dates calculator below, Sun 6 May 2018 to Sun 3 June 2018 is 28 days.... https://planetcalc.com/274/?license=1
  12. I doubt that an ex-Management Committee member would go against anything laid down by the BSPA, so it was OK to use R/R for Lewis at Berwick and a guest for him at Brough on Sunday. It all comes down to what date Newcastle were awarded the facility from, rather than going by when it was announced on Twitter, or when another team signed a rider, etc.
  13. 28 day facility for Lewis Rose ended tonight, so we either 1) have to sign someone for Scunthorpe on Friday, or, 2) it will be an NL guest. Stuart Robson hopes to be back soon.
  14. We haven't been promised anything, so far, only hope.
  15. So, what he needs is 1) Bikes, 2) a mechanic and 3) someone to carry his kit bag, etc.
  16. If you start the season in April, what do think is going to happen? There has to be blank weeks, before the Play-offs kick in! Newcastle have 2 home and 1 away match in July, but have 4 home and 5 away in August!!
  17. Lewis Rose has not retired. He's taking time out of the sport. There is a difference.
  18. Just for a couple of meetings, then Nikolai Klindt comes in (when new averages kick in). http://www.poolepirates.co/news/2018-05-27-klindt-returns-to-pirates-fold.html
  19. Stefan Nielsen broke a leg May 23rd riding for Poole against Wolves
  20. Theo Pijper has been dropped. Announcement to be made to who replaces him once BSPA approval is given.
  21. Really? The rules are in place (for this type of situation), to try and stop riders missing meetings "willy nilly." Whilst I understand that this situation is probably totally genuine, Redcar could well be fined for fielding an understrength team, but, at the end of the day, it is likely Newcastle who will lose out financially, as fans could (as has already been mentioned by some on here) decide to stay away.
  22. Line-ups are: Diamonds: 1. L Lindgren, 2. D Howe, 3. K Doolan, 4. A Morris, 5. T Aarnio, 6. C Wilkinson, 7. M Wethers Redcar: 1. B Barker, 2. T Pijper, 3. JB Andersen, 4. T Busch, 5. M Kus, 6. MB Andersen, 7. J Stewart
