  1. Not strictly true. When Josh joined Birmingham he was there for the rest of the season, but I wouldn't argue that it's too soon for Championship. Hopefully he will get a team spot in the NL for 2019.
  2. Those who are true and loyal Bandits fans who buy a season ticket every season will buy one anyhow, whether 0 riders, or all 7 riders, or any number in between have been announced.
  3. Spot on. (It was last weeks 'Star' dated 24th Nov btw).
  4. I think you may have answered your own question !
  5. Stuart announced his retirement at the end of last season. You (or anyone else) could do worse than Wilko on his 3.96 (-2.5%) average.
  6. I think you will, find that was an ex-Newcastle number one... !!
  7. Prices 'frozen' for 2019: http://www.redcar-speedway.com/2018/11/26/season-tickets-and-admission-prices-for-2019/
  8. Kyle Bickley confirmed: http://www.workingtoncomets.co/news/article.asp?id=101045&fbclid=IwAR38QSKk9_4ttqDinpF3XU8NCbIwpTRZuHkllnh5kTqqpIxpkpQLnwMbNlU
  9. Don't think so. If you have new promoters (who haven't promoted previously) you have to have a promoter as an over-seer, until you serve your probation period (Neil Machin did it at Leicester and (I think) Scunthorpe). The two promoters rule came in to stop a repeat of the Newport situation, after Tim Stone's death. That's how I believe it works, anyhow.
  10. Unless they've changed the rules back, you have to have at least two promoters at the club.
  11. The way I understood it was, he stepped down as Team Manager, but remained a Co-promoter. I could be wrong of course!
  12. Leon Flint will probably end up at Berwick, I would think
  13. Jittendra was already a promoter, was he not?
  14. Chris Harris rode for St Austell in the Conference League in 1998 aged 15.
  15. There are other vidoes on YouTube, but here's one of them:
  16. We had a rider at the end of the season that couldn't get time off work. so missed the meeting (Matty Wethers for Newcastle at Workington).
  17. http://scunthorpescorpions.co/?p=9393 Jake Allen & Jedd List
  18. Sorry, but that doesn't really help. Newcastle and from next season, Sheffield are Sunday tracks, so which of the above riders does that rule out those two sides signing?
  19. The important thing is what days (potentially) do their Polish clubs ride?
  20. Matej could be a steal on his average. I'd take Alfie over Ben, but doubt Alfie will be heading north. Matty W should now be a certain starter for us next season, with the average now just 38. It also might play in a return for Carl W. I still say Tero and Ash are a must for 2019.
  21. Monday & Thursday "Protected Race Nights" in the Premiership.
