  1. I was responding to the top post by Leander, who is obviously unaware of the 'news.'
  2. Tero has been announced...... at Workington.
  3. So.... reading the above.... we can probably expect Ludvig back?
  4. You've got a good un in Ash. He has served the Diamonds well these last few seasons. Good Luck to him.
  5. Martin said he wanted us to sign riders that will "entertain" and I think Nike will do that. Hopefully he can get used to the track pretty quickly. Welcome to the Diamonds Nike. Really sorry to see Ash go. He was second on my list of riders I would have liked to see return. Good Luck at Brum Ash. I just hope that the rider on the top of my list that I'd hope to return does so and doesn't go elsewhere, as rumoured throughout the Forum.
  6. Hopefully Ash will be further north in the North East.
  7. Tero ended up as Newcastle's number one on a 6.83 average. I think that's a heat leader to me.
  8. Eh? They had Kyle Bickley (a 2 pointer all season) at reserve and won the treble! Unless I'm reading what you are trying to say wrong?!
  9. Not strictly true. When Josh joined Birmingham he was there for the rest of the season, but I wouldn't argue that it's too soon for Championship. Hopefully he will get a team spot in the NL for 2019.
  10. Those who are true and loyal Bandits fans who buy a season ticket every season will buy one anyhow, whether 0 riders, or all 7 riders, or any number in between have been announced.
  11. Spot on. (It was last weeks 'Star' dated 24th Nov btw).
  12. I think you may have answered your own question !
  13. Stuart announced his retirement at the end of last season. You (or anyone else) could do worse than Wilko on his 3.96 (-2.5%) average.
  14. I think you will, find that was an ex-Newcastle number one... !!
  15. Prices 'frozen' for 2019: http://www.redcar-speedway.com/2018/11/26/season-tickets-and-admission-prices-for-2019/
  16. Kyle Bickley confirmed: http://www.workingtoncomets.co/news/article.asp?id=101045&fbclid=IwAR38QSKk9_4ttqDinpF3XU8NCbIwpTRZuHkllnh5kTqqpIxpkpQLnwMbNlU
  17. Don't think so. If you have new promoters (who haven't promoted previously) you have to have a promoter as an over-seer, until you serve your probation period (Neil Machin did it at Leicester and (I think) Scunthorpe). The two promoters rule came in to stop a repeat of the Newport situation, after Tim Stone's death. That's how I believe it works, anyhow.
  18. Unless they've changed the rules back, you have to have at least two promoters at the club.
  19. The way I understood it was, he stepped down as Team Manager, but remained a Co-promoter. I could be wrong of course!
  20. Leon Flint will probably end up at Berwick, I would think
  21. Jittendra was already a promoter, was he not?
  22. Chris Harris rode for St Austell in the Conference League in 1998 aged 15.
