Circus is still on (3pm start). There will be very limited parking at Brough Park for the visit of Somerset on Sunday (4th). Supporters are asked to park in the Home Bargains (formerly B&Q) car park, or on the Fosseway. Newcastle City Council have said that they're happy for us to park on the main road this week.

Many times. Manor Walk Shopping Centre, Tynemouth RNLI event, various schools, Aykley Heads (Durham Police HQ) event, and that's all in the last few months alone.

Like what? I don't know why we should be raising money for the riders, I would have thought keeping the club afloat would be more useful (that's if the Supporters Club is there to raise money for riders, which, thinking about it, I don't think it is).

That's why (I believe) the Supporters Club has been re-launched.

Oh yeah! Guested for Glasgow!! (I knew he'd been there recently!!).

Sam Masters rode at Newcastle in the Cup.

But (as far as I remember) "Ian" didn't run tracks in the same division. Quite how this is in "the best interest of the sport" I am struggling with if I'm honest.

StevePark replied to Col's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Yes, but as I've said in the brackets, Tigers total August average is 39.92, which means they have 0.08 to play with. -

Broc Nicol 4.34 vs Todd Kurtz 5.27, so no (Sheff Aug Ttl = 39.92). -

And, if you look at Sheffield's website, they haven't got one! -

I asked Martin Phillips quite a few weeks ago, if needed could we run on a Monday and he said "no." -

They wouldn't be allowed to run on a Thursday. The only other option, apart from a Sunday (as far as I can see), is a Wednesday. -
Diamonds averages for August: Steve 8.12, Thomas 7.23, Matty 6.60, Lasse 6.47, Ulrich 5.12, Max 5.05, Danny 2.00. Ttl = 40.59

Providing the weather plays ball, the Diamonds should be decent opposition as a few of them go well round Owlerton (famous last words!). Providing he comes through tonight's meeting for King's Lynn (home to Peterborough) Thomas Jorgensen should be back for the Diamonds on Sunday. -
No. We only have 0.37 to play with, as we used 1.66 on Ulrich replacing Jacob, so we can only go with a 2.37 average rider IF we decided (which is unlikely) to replace Danny.

Kyle isn't under any pressure to score big points though. The Glasgow top 5 should be good enough to score the points required and therefore he and Connor Bailey pick up points they can as a bonus to the top 5 scores. Also most number 7's in the Championship are 2.00 pointers (originally) and are under-21. The Polish U-21 riders are miles ahead of most of our U-21's and, probably, will be for quite some time yet.

Even though it's got nothing to do with the thread of "Newcastle 2019" I will answer. Yes. Same as the League title, Championship Riders etc etc.

Birmingham Brummies 2019
StevePark replied to Brummies_Ste's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
The statement says they are awaiting news of a private scan, so they don't know whether it's long term, short term, mid term, half term () or what. I think most people predicted that the original 1-7 wouldn't last too long, the fact that they also say "this may not be the end of changes" suggests only one or two of the original septet will last in a Brummies bib until the end of the season.
