Without checking the rules, I think Max said such at the Talk-in before Christmas.

Newcastle Diamonds Official now launched on YouTube. Please subscribe!!

Newcastle would be in the Northern Junior League ( and probably still will be), not the Midland Development League. I believe Archie is moving up to 500cc full time from now on and Danny could be following suit.
-
I don't think that is the way they are thinking at all. They are giving competitive racing to the likes of Josh Embleton, Archie Freeman, and Danny Smith, rather than just giving them the Northern Junior League to be involved in.
-
He's signed for the IOW as well.

Newcastle have applied to race in the NL Trophy competition in 2020. http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/home.asp

No idea! I presume they want you to book your ticket, so they know the numbers for the buffet, but as far as payment is concerned II don't know. The Supporters Club are the ones organising it.

A Race/Bingo night has been arranged for Friday 7th Feb with a 7pm start at the South Gosforth CIU Club. New signings Nick Skorja, Connor Mountain and Ondrej Smetana will be in attendance and there will be a Hog Roast supplied by Rob. James rode for us at Sheffield as guest reserve in 2003 and he scored 2+2 that night and I said to George in the bar afterwards "sign him"!!! He was riding for Buxton at the time and were obviously a Sunday track too, so it wasn't going to happen, sadly!

Copied and Pasted off the Berwick Rangers website: The Bandits made a formal request to widen the straights by 1 metre, which of course means narrowing the width of the Shielfield pitch. Currently 64 metres wide, the pitch would reduce to 62 metres, two metres wider than that required for Bronze Club Licence and six metres wider than Entry Licence.

As long as they don't emulate his away form too......
-
I'm sure Rob will have done his homework. Smetana rode in the GP qualifier up at Glasgow and scored 6 points and also had a spin round Brough after a meeting this year. Skorja was a wildcard in a full GP in 2018, so can't be that bad.

As someone says, the 'new' riders will give it 100% every race, unlike some of last seasons team. Diamonds fans will appreciate that. There is a massive potential in that team to improve averages, Ondrej. Nick, James and Max alone might put 1, 2 or 3 points on their starting averages, which is what Rob wants, average improving riders. Some are saying it's a poor team (one can't even spell rubbish correctly), without even seeing some of the riders ride, which is laughable in my view. I reckon we are going to surprise a few people next year, yes there a few 'if's' involved, but it only needs one or two of those 'if's' to fall in to place and that is not an impossibility.

Both on a 5 I think

Taken off Facebook: BREAKING NEWS We can confirm that the Shielfield Park circuit will be adapted before the tapes go up in 2020! Co-owner Jamie Courtney has announced at tonight’s Christmas party that work will begin to widen the entrances & exits to the corners and widen the straights in the new year! We will bring you the full story over the weekend but this is a huge step forward for the club as we look forward to enjoying the fastest Speedway in the country with lots more possibilities for great racing.

It's already been said that Claus Vissing is our number one, so the "big-hitter" isn't gonna happen. And with 12.12 pts left it probably wouldn't happen anyway as Connor Mountain is at reserve on a 4.61 average. That leaves a 5ish and a 6+.

I have asked for you on Facebook and have been told they will come on here to explain (they may have PM'd you?) UPDATE: They have replied but it needs to be approved by the Mods.
