Was the Premier Trophy a "Mickey Mouse Cup" as well then, as this is the same thing, only under a different name?

I think Riss is number 1 in the averages, so should start at No.1.

BAGS meeting. Hardly anyone turns up to watch for a BAGS meeting. Spectators normally attend evening fixtures.
-
The result is immaterial, as long as all riders are safe at the end of the meeting and those who attend enjoy the evening. I'm guessing that it will be hoped that most (if not all) of the seven riders will be ex-Diamonds. Also to answer one of your queries from an earlier post of yours, I know funds are being raised to help towards the costs of the Select side.
-
So why query it then? You may not be bothered whether the meeting takes place, but there a fair few from Newcastle (and the surrounding area) who are bothered, as it will be great to see a "Newcastle" side taking to the track once again.

It's all down to opinion, of course, but you are asking for trouble if you build a team around two heats (13 & 15 in this case). To me, you are better building "strength in depth" rather than too "top heavy".
-
Not if all (or most) of the other heats are 2-4's or 1-5's to the opposition!

Best Food in the championship

I hadn't spotted Dave Peet!! Neil Machin is in there and, from a Newcastle point of view one of the riders that comes across is Byron Bekker. -

Are we talking of the clip (below)? The "big lad with the burger" is former referee Dave Dowling: -
Which one? Or both? I will try and do my list later (it's quite long and I'm off out in a few minutes and need time to remember them all!!).

Josh Embleton confirmed for 2023

Has been suggested on here that is where he is heading........
-
I think you are, but I'm only trying to read between the lines on his Facebook status!
-
Where has this been announced please?

Indeed, my memory isn't as good as it was. Rye had gone up despite finishing 9th the year before in the 2nd tier, lasting just the one season in the top flight. Their demise left just 7 top-flight teams in 2018.

Poole to Berwick approx 415 miles Poole to Armadale approx 455 miles Although, presumably, it would be done as part of a tour.

Find out more about our new promoter of the Comets, Andrew Bain. He recently spoke with Cumbria Crack and revealed all about his love for speedway & bikes, how progress is continuing at Northside and how the return of the Comets came about… A TALK WITH ANDREW BAIN: https://workingtoncomets.com/andrew-bain/?fbclid=IwAR0KCIjEqiVGGkh6al6mseFANfWc4rUERnWsMPwF9j4r3iqQzGL7_7HhnaE

So, the Bullets would race those night, presumably ?

Rye House were in the 2nd Tier at the time - and had been for quite a while and were a Saturday night track.
