  1. Short interview with Team Manager Gavin Parr:
  2. Maybe because they still had a job to do until the end of heat 15? Plenty of time to celebrate then. That is when you celebrate IMO.
  3. Championship final issue: https://britishspeedway.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/c22_issue_final.pdf For other Leagues and Seasons go to the "Archive" section in the "More" dropdown on the Main Page of the BSPL site
  4. Yet they are allowing Aussies/New Zealanders into the League in 2023 ? !!
  5. So - if you have cash in your pocket - but no money in your bank account, you can't get in?
  6. Already been mentioned earlier in the thread.
  7. 45pts from the top 5 + 1pt from heat 2 = 46?
  8. Jake Turner confirmed by Plymouth https://www.facebook.com/plymouthgladiators
  9. Ex-Diamond Paul Starke https://plymouth-speedway.com/the-2023-gladiators/
  10. Was the Premier Trophy a "Mickey Mouse Cup" as well then, as this is the same thing, only under a different name?
  11. I think Riss is number 1 in the averages, so should start at No.1.
  12. BAGS meeting. Hardly anyone turns up to watch for a BAGS meeting. Spectators normally attend evening fixtures.
  13. The result is immaterial, as long as all riders are safe at the end of the meeting and those who attend enjoy the evening. I'm guessing that it will be hoped that most (if not all) of the seven riders will be ex-Diamonds. Also to answer one of your queries from an earlier post of yours, I know funds are being raised to help towards the costs of the Select side.
  14. So why query it then? You may not be bothered whether the meeting takes place, but there a fair few from Newcastle (and the surrounding area) who are bothered, as it will be great to see a "Newcastle" side taking to the track once again.
  15. It's all down to opinion, of course, but you are asking for trouble if you build a team around two heats (13 & 15 in this case). To me, you are better building "strength in depth" rather than too "top heavy".
  16. Not if all (or most) of the other heats are 2-4's or 1-5's to the opposition!
  17. I hadn't spotted Dave Peet!! Neil Machin is in there and, from a Newcastle point of view one of the riders that comes across is Byron Bekker.
  18. Are we talking of the clip (below)? The "big lad with the burger" is former referee Dave Dowling:
  19. Which one? Or both? I will try and do my list later (it's quite long and I'm off out in a few minutes and need time to remember them all!!).
