  1. Let's be honest, the promotion aren't going to do a Press Release at the start of the season and say "Sorry folks, but you've got a poor team team watch this season. We've got it wrong this year", are they?
  2. You would have to ask him that question. You would also have to ask how he was allowed to ride at all, as it sounds (I'm no doctor, mind) very much like he had/has concussion. Lewi Kerr came off in a spill last night and has an immediate "no ride" policy against him, surely the same should have applied to Erik Riss, no matter where in Europe he was riding?

  4. And, apparently, said afterwards it was a mistake to do so (failed to score from 4 rides) as he felt fuzzy headed throughout.
  5. Newcastle used to do it all the time, or rearrange the start time at Brough. Not so easy once they couldn't have the light over the speedway track though...
  6. Sanchez in UK: Glasgow (1999-2001)Trelawny (2002, 2003)Peterborough (2004, 2011)Hull (2004, 2005)Sheffield (2006, 2011, 2012)Birmingham (2007)Stoke (2008)Scunthorpe (2008)King's Lynn (2009)Redcar (2010) Taken from here: https://wwosbackup.proboards.com/thread/2580/emiliano-sanchez
  7. So in today's case, not suitable for NDL racing then?
  8. TJ is what he is. He can be very frustrating, from race to race, let alone meeting to meeting, as we witnessed when he rode for Newcastle. Genuinely a nice bloke, but that doesn't alter the fact he isn't a 9 point rider in the CL, 7-7.5 at best. Berwick, at the minute, have too many weak links in their 1-7 and will struggle to reach the Top 6 with it.
  9. No change there then. How anyone can watch that every week baffles me, it really does. I (rather stupidly) went up to Berwick for the Poole match last year, expecting it to be a good meeting. I think, from memory, there was one genuine pass all night. The track "improvements" were supposed to improve the racing. They clearly haven't.
  10. Which is easily deleted..... but hasn't been. All I'm saying is that he does himself no favours.
  11. George Congreve guests for Archie Freeman and it's R/R for Mason Watson. https://britishspeedway.co.uk/ndl/preview-leicester-v-berwick-ndl-2/ Also Josh Embleton has been ruled out and Kai Ward guests.
  12. In case you are unaware (apologies if you are aware!) Wright woke up this morning feeling a lot better and declared he was fit to ride, but Riss who felt unwell during his meeting last night, woke up and declared himself UNFIT to ride, so Redcar switched the guest facility to Riss at number 1. This on Redcar's Facebook and Twitter a/c's. The other one missing, is Jake Mulford.
  13. Who pays for it though? I totally agree all tracks should have two ambulances - but someone has to "suffer" the extra cost. Unless you can get a sponsor to pay for it, then it's down to the fans, yet again and some might say they are paying enough (if not more than VFM) as it is.
  14. These are not 2 legged matches (same as League matches in other words) so should be allowed.
  15. No offence (I know Roy and he knows me), but, I don't think people are going to Redcar to listen to Roy Clarke. Whether he's there are not, people will attend if the track action is continually good.
