  1. Yes, I realise you said could! The thing is though, Richie scored 10+1 from 6 rides at Plymouth for us back on 9th September, so I doubt a 3 point 'rookie' would get anything like that (please note I said "doubt" LOL). Joe (for the record) scored 4 from 4 from the number 3 position.
  2. I refer you back to my original post:- re devaluing the (PL) product. There are 3 other PL matches that night, plus an individual meeting at Leicester, so getting a PL reserve guest in in the first place is greatly reduced! And how would bringing in an NL guest for Richie (3.74 ave) make us stronger??
  3. I'm sorry, but I have to disagree with you here. Surely it's up to the NL meeting promoters to come up with a suitable date which benefits both teams? Somerset vs Scunthorpe in itself suggest that riders are 'double booked' (for the want of a better phrase) and, along with Plymouth vs Newcastle was arranged weeks ago, so why should PL teams release riders for a 'lower-tier' match, when their own PL match was (re)arranged first? Plus the fact that Scunthorpe can ride on any day of the week, suggests that an alternative date where riders aren't riding elsewhere, could be found, surely?
  4. Yes, which is why he missed the GB Under-21 vs USA Touring Team match at Dudley last night. He's been missing with a back injury since 18th September.
  5. Newcastle are already two riders down and need a reserve guest as it is (R/R for Kyle Newman and guest reserve for Joe Haines), so there is no chance they will release Richie and de-value the product even further.
  6. Will Newcastle and Glasgow be able to run on that Sunday? Or will it be another date lost for them?
  7. Firstly - this should be in the Premier Fours thread in the 'Individual, shared etc.' section. Secondly - in that thread, this whole argument has been running for some time now.
  8. Another thread in the 'individual, shared etc' section on the forum already started for the Fours.
  9. NOT being 'picky' but Sunday is the 7th, so I presume it is still the Sunday (or did you mean Saturday 6th).
  10. Errr.... no he didn't.... Ted Rogers was the host of 3-2-1 (Dusty Bin and those stupid clues!!!). "Come on Down" was The Price Is Right 'catchphrase' and was hosted by (originally) Leslie Crowther. But it's an easy mistake to make!
  11. Has this meeting been called off? Adam McKinna says on his Facebook status that "no meeting on wednesday now wonder how long this racing drought is gonna last."
  12. A lot depends on the Elite League Play-offs raced tonight. I am sure all will be revealed soon.
  13. He hasn't got a 'proper' PL ave., therefore it is seen as assessed as far as qualification for the PLRC is concerned.
  14. As mentioned above.... See more here: http://www.mckinnaracing.com/news_article.asp?id=76
  15. I thought for one terrible moment he had been fishing illegally, or something! Seriously though, well done to the lad and let's hope he continues in the same vain on the shale as we could do with some young talent coming through the ranks.
  16. Adam McKinna guests for the injured Byron Bekker.
  17. That was (kind of) my point!! But I thought I would let a Glasgow fan point it out!
  18. IF Travis McGowan had been missing (and ONLY Travis), then it would have been R/R!
  19. Tully directly. I'm in the pits every week at Brough and Tully went up to both Kenni and Deek and apologised. Nothing malicious in it at all (the incident). Pure racing incident.
  20. Sorry for butting in on these childish and petty squabbles.... but just for the record - after the Tully/Larsen/Sneddon incident - if Andy wasn't 'at fault', why then did he apologise immediately after the incident to both Kenni and Derek for going into Kenni in the first turn, therefore putting Kenni into Derek and Derek into the fence?
  21. It says on page 5 - "Tapes Up is a BSPA Production. Editor Nigel Pearson, Production Paul Rickett."
  22. Firstly - Congratulations to the winners Birmingham. To add to 'all' the moans about the Prog (haven't read it yet but the mistakes for the line-ups for some of the 'Second Semi-Final' heats are inexcusable) which was advertised at £4, the Car Park (which was advertised at £2) and the Stand (which as far as I am aware wasn't advertised at £2 extra), I also thought the presentation for a major event was lacklustre. Why no 'Centre Green' Presenter. After all we had David Rowe doing the occasional interview (great timing by the way in interviewing Ivan Mauger as the riders came out for the 'First Semi' heat 8, when it surely would have been better to wait until the interval, two races later? ) . The P.A. on the back straight wasn't perfect either. Other than that, generally the racing was poor. Follow my leader stuff mainly. Best move of the day was Rene Bach, going from last to first, only for him to be cruely stopped by a faulty air filter.
  23. No idea if this helps but give it a try! Link: http://www.foundem.co.uk/M/bikes/Bike-Books/Plymouth_Speedway.jsp
