As I've already pointed out above, Craig Cook guests at No.1 for Diamonds on Sunday.
There doesn't appear to be any talk of change on the Berwick 2014 thread, but I'm sure talk of any change is pure speculation.
You know that for a fact do you?
Last night shows that Newcastle aren't far away. To get within a point of one of the unbeaten teams in the PL this year was a damn good effort.
I thought neither side deserved to lose and a draw may have been a more apt result. Just my opinion of course.
To be quite honest, I don't think it really matters who's in the main body and who's at reserve, as whoever is at reserve should score an absolute s**t load of points, not just tomorrow but for the next month.
We (well me, anyway) welcome Chris and his battling displays to Newcastle. Feel a bit sorry for Dan G., but, hopefully his time will come in the future.
On a similar theme, Jonathan Swales won the Conference League (Third Division?) Riders Championship on an upright. He was the only rider in the field to ride one that night.
It's a pity that Ipswich fans (so far) can't give any credit to Newcastle, who I thought battled well and deserved to get something out of the meeting, especially when the odds are against them, but, hey ho!
Let's hope we can carry this victory through to next week (it's only Edinburgh, after all!! ).
That depends on if anyone else increases their average though! What Kingy might lose will be offset by any improvement (goes without saying depends on if riders up their average or drop their average across all 6 of them).
