  1. I think someone has pointed out (on another thread), Robert Lambert is not allowed to Double up/down this season.
  2. I'd rather see his team-mate Simon Nielsen. All down to personal choice, of course. Again, it appears we will have to see who it is when we get the Raceday Magazine.
  3. Lewis Kerr rides (I think you've got you're Lewis's mixed up?). Lewis Rose out injured: http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100286 Article doesn't say who replaces Schrammy, though.
  4. Let's see if he rides for KIng's Lynn tonight, we might have a better idea then.
  5. Is it not the case that any assets of Birmingham, now become assets of the BSPA?
  6. I really have no answers. I don't particularly like the bloke (I don't know him personally, mind, just the way he comes across), but Speedway needs a Barry Hearn type person to come in and shake the whole thing up.
  7. Speedway needs to drag itself into the 21st Century and basically re-invent itself. It's been done by Cricket, Darts and to some extent Snooker and Speedway must do something similar to attract new fans, otherwise it will die an agonising death.
  8. Quite a few of the 'top foriegners' (current GP) don't even ride in the EL.
  9. 13. Trouble is they would be filled with NL, MDL & NJL riders at the bottom end.
  10. He was just as bad (perhaps even worse) on Friday night. Great team effort by the Diamonds last night. I'm still trying to work out if we were really, really good, or if the Scorpions were really, really bad. A bit of both I expect.
  11. So.... Aaron Fox replaces Schrammy... Late decision on Robbo.. Lewi K is back... http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100279
  12. Just been announced via Twitter, that David Bellego will guest in place of Robbo, after Berwick's match at Somerset was called off.
  13. You're quite right . Away meetings at Redcar and Edinburgh and at home to Edinburgh are the three matches that would have counted towards a 'proper' average.
  14. Ty Proctor doesn't appear in any of Plymouth's 1-7 on the BSPA Greensheets for 2013 on the BSPA website, suggesting his appearances were as a guest.
  15. James Wright used to do the same thing. A bit of water has gone under the bridge since then, though.
  16. Might be difficult, as Peterborough are at Edinburgh and Redcar are at Plymouth on Friday.
  17. If I remember correctly, Darryl wanted to do a Northern 4TT last season, but nothing came of it. Perhaps it's something to consider for this/next season? Perhaps have 8 teams in it: Group A Redcar (Thurs) Scunthorpe (Fri) Berwick (Sat) Newcastle (Sun) and Group B Sheffield (Thur), Edinburgh (Fri), Workington (Sat) and Glasgow (Sun), with the top 2 from each group meeting in the final?
  18. First of all I can't find my original post, but If I remember correctly I did say maybe (and I underlined it) as a possible (and I think I underlined that too) cause for lack of fixtures. I don't think I said it was the reason, just my take on it. Seems I was wrong. Humble pie being eaten. Secondly, if there is a lack of fixtures, why did the promotion agree to the fixtures at the start of the season? Surely you can't agree with something and then be unhappy with it later? Thirdly, if I did come across as 'patronising' then, sorry, that wasn't the intention. Just trying to throw a possible reason into the mix.
