  1. Max Clegg guests for the injured Chris Mills for the Diamonds (courtesy Edinburgh website).
  2. And, according to the Edinburgh website, Scott Robson is making a comeback (they must have been reading the Berwick E-Newsletter!! ). http://www.edinburghmonarchs.co/news/article.asp?id=1844
  3. Lewi Kerr has Tweeted he has done his scaphoid and his season is over. Meanwhile this statement is now on the Diamonds website concerning the date "move" from the 5th to the 12th Oct. http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100328
  4. Newcastle will need a guest as Lewi Kerr has Tweeted he has done his scaphoid and that his season is over. Gutted for the lad. Hope the weather forecast improves!
  5. http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100327
  6. I'd only have Starke in as a reserve. Similar to Lewis R, who would be my personal choice. I'd certainly steer clear of Covatti (even on that average). I'd have Simon N back, or, if fit, Chris Mills. A lot depends on who is at the top-end average wise, and what the team average will be (although I think they should leave well alone and keep it at 42.5).
  7. Berwick tweeted that Matty Wethers was guesting for Glasgow this afternoon, but didn't say who he was guesting in place of.
  8. Well what can I say? I asked both Promotions on Sunday and both said it was a 5pm start (Colin Hamilton even gave me the explanation for the start time, as I've said earlier). So believe me if you want.
  9. Depends what the limit is! No good speculating until we know the what the League structure(s) are for 2015.... and more importantly, you know what you've done, don't you? The next 20 pages or so filled with teams from DIAMONDS!!!!!
  10. I wouldn't worry. As I stated in my earlier posts the BSPA website (as of this minute) is saying 1500hrs and the Diamonds website is also saying 3pm! I mentioned this to George on Sunday, so hopefully it will be rectified.
  11. The reason it is a 5pm start is because Glasgow have riders riding away on Saturday night and it allows extra time for them to get back for the start time
  12. Somerset reach new heights? Is this in comparison to the lows they reached before the start of the season?
  13. Can now confirm that it's a 5pm start for this meeting, having spoken to both Colin Hamilton and George English at the PLRC. I can also say the Ref will be Ronnie Allen.
  14. It's really helpful (or not, as the case may be!), that the Diamonds announced 5pm on Sunday gone, yet the Diamonds website says 3pm!! The BSPA website fixtures says 1500 (i.e 3pm) and the Glasgow website fixtures doesn't have any start time!!! I'm guessing 3pm., but will wait some kind of official confirmation!
  15. I have to be honest, and say "so would I"!!! When it was announced as 5pm I turned to someone and said "Bloody Hell, It'll be dark!!"
  16. 1950's according to this: http://www.cjbalm.com/auto-aero/mitem405.htm
  17. Can someone confirm the start time, as I'm sure I heard 5pm over the P.A at Brough last Sunday.
  18. Someone thought up something similar a few years back. Home and away twice in the Groups and then home and away once against the teams in the opposite group. Top 2 from each group (A1 v B2, A2 v B1) in a semi final, with the winners meeting in the final to determine the League Champions.
