  1. R/R (unless 2 or more top 5 riders missing)
  2. http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/news/article.asp?id=100358 Not sure when Ian Thomas was knighted... but there you go!
  3. For a start Di Maria is Argentinian. Anyway he's been capped 57 times by Argentina, scoring 11 international goals and played 124 games for that small club called Real Madrid, scoring 22 goals. Ramires capped 51 times by Brazil and was deemed good enough to play for that small club called Benfica. Luis has been capped just 10 times for Brazil but managed to play 127 times for that small club called Athletico Madrid. As for Raphael, Man Utd signed him as an 18 year old. So I think most (the first 3 I mentioned at any rate) are talented enough to play in England. Someone, somewhere has to put some sort of rules down as to who should be allowed a work permit/visa, otherwise any Tom, Dick or Harry would be able to come in, whether they were good enough or not.
  4. Christian Henry is long term domiciled in UK (same as Ricky Wells) and is OK.
  5. Your man in yellow...... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ob0eJU2d46w
  6. September 2011 as a replacement for James Wright at Workington.
  7. They have gained a Work Permit for the uncapped Paulista http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30970748
  8. OOPS! Armadale in 2003 & 2004 in that case! http://www.berwickbandits.co/content/matthew-wethers
  9. Also rode for Buxton in 2007 & Redcar Cubs 2009.............. http://www.speedwaygb.co/riderindex15_s
  10. I believe that Christian is a classed as a long term resident (similar to Ricky Wells). It doesn't effect the others as they are EU.
  11. I'll tell you what I see in him, determination, which, in this sport, can go a long way to succeeding in it. It may not look the greatest ever Diamonds 1-7 ever assembled, but if every rider can stick a point on their average, then that could go some way in getting success in 2015.
  12. Going to work through my lunchbreak tomorrow to make up for it. Welcome back Christian and Good Luck to Ludde as he begins his new role of captain. No doubt he'll be the "Lightning Skippa" for 2015!
  13. Yep. I took an hour on my lunch to trawl through the BSPA fixture list, but got them in. Roll on March!
  14. Plenty of space and right near the track and FREE!
  15. I did. But it took some doing. And, as I said to Tsunami (hinted at, at any rate) I don't normally have a gripe/go, whatever you want to call it, it is very rare for me to do so, but I just don't think it looks very good on the club when 11 of the 13 clubs can put the fixtures on their websites early after 10am and one of the two that didn't is ours.
  16. I don't. But as Tsunami says speedway hasn't got the money to pay for a full time executive staff. I used to help out on the website. I used to do the Previews for the matches. If you want to know why I stopped PM me and I'll tell you the reason.
  17. When was the last time I 'had a go'? I'm pretty sure all of the other 11 clubs' websites will be run by people who 'have full time jobs,' but they have managed to get their fixtures up on their websites. Yes, you can check on the BSPA website for the fixtures. But it's damn time consuming doing it that way and I only get half an hour lunchbreak and it would have been rather nice to see it on OUR website. EDIT: Nice to see they are now on the website. Or rather they appear to be being put on the website http://www.newcastlediamonds.co/fixtures.asp
  18. Yes. As a Webmaster..... As I said, 11 out of the 13 clubs have updated their sites, it always seems to be Newcastle that 'lag behind' in this sort of thing. It would be nice to able to look on our website, to sort days off and holidays as soon as we can, rather than have to trawl through the BSPA fixtures month by month and hope you don't miss a fixture in the long lists!
  19. Surely Sheffield won't be in Plymouth's LC Group?????? It should read PL rather than LC, surely?
  20. Nope. Not surprised at all (Nearly 4 hours and counting.....!)
  21. So, 3 hours since the fixtures were to be released, just TWO clubs are still to put their fixtures on to their respective websites. Berwick and guess who else??? Yup, Newcastle.
