Looked like a decent crowd last night. Track was poor though. Quite why they graded the dirt where nobody was going and watered that bit and left the inside line (rather than at least drag the dirt onto the inside line where the dirt was originally) baffles me, but hey ho.

I think the Top 5 are pretty evenly matched (I know Robbo is likely to be out!!), so a lot could depend on the reserves.

Yes. 23rd is also the Newcastle Press & Practice day, but, as like last season, the other Northern clubs (Berwick, Redcar and Worky) will also be in attendance, but they will also host their own clubs P&P's at their respective tracks too.

Closed season, maybe, but over 40 appearances during the 2014 season for Berwick, out of over 90 in total for the Northern teams, is hardly little. It gets mentioned on TV, be thankful for that.
