  1. A frustrated ride is one, whether programmed or not, including nomination as a TS, RR and IRR, which results in a disqualification for a starting offence, or for any reason, is unable to take part in a re-run and is replaced by another rider. Speedway Control Bureau Regulations 123 If no replacement is made it is a compulsory ride and counts towards the minimum 3 ride rule. If a replacement is made it will not count towards the minimum 3 ride rule.
  2. I was going off the official Green Sheet Averages.
  3. Lewi Kerr has an 8.60 average for Oxford and is 2nd in their averages, ahead of Scott Nicholls. I reckon that makes him a Championship heat leader.
  4. Here's an idea. Stick to the thread (Redcar vs Glasgow, in case you've forgotten) and GROW UP some of you.
  5. I think the ultimate downfall for Redcar this season is the fact they have very little "home advantage".
  6. Nope. His Farewell meeting has to take place before or after a certain date (can't remember what the dates are) early season or late season. Lets not forget this is the FIFTH attempt to run the meeting.
  7. I thought Poland has first call on Sunday's, especially when this is a re-arranged fixture? (From what others have been saying re: the Charles Wright situation the other week).
  8. Because they extended the League deadline, there are less dates to run the play-offs, especially with six teams in them and FOUR of them running on a Friday. Spot on. Too many blank weeks and then the usual end of season clamber to get the fixtures in. I think next season should be better organised fixture wise, with 14 or so teams in one league (not sure how many will drop to NDL and how many will run in the whatever it's called "one league"). ________________00000000000_____________ Six teams in the play-offs, especially with a nine-team league, is IMO, ludicrous. Top Four - Semi Final and Final - would have been quite sufficient, but they are going after the £££, without putting any real thought into it (as usual).
  9. OK, he wouldn't have been injured (but could quite easily have riding for Redcar) but, he wouldn't have been able to ride anyway because he would have been banned worldwide for 28 days.
  10. I am sure @crescent girl or @NeilWatson can confirm (or otherwise!!) !!
  11. He was in the original declared 1-7 at the start of the season and, as far as I understand it, can come back in when fit (i.e tonight).

  13. Plus. in addition, all Under-21 players are eligible without being named in the squad of 25.
  14. 18ish!! https://www.northumberlandgazette.co.uk/news/senna-crowned-world-champion-410783
  15. It's OFF: Copied and Pasted off Facebook: MEETING POSTPONED We have made the difficult decision to postpone Wednesday night’s fixture 20th September against Redcar due to the weather conditions forecasted for tomorrow. A rescheduled date will be announced ASAP once we receive approval from BSPL & Redcar speedway All purchased tickets remain valid for the rescheduled fixture, or a full refund can be processed if you're unable to attend by emailing us.
  16. Well, yes, but it would be up to Kent if they went to Workington on that day, therefore (if they did), they would be going with or without Ablitt on their terms.
