When was the last time a Track Record was broken in Heat 15?
We were up against it from the off and, had I known Simon had had to withdraw with illness, I might have thought twice about going down.
Oh well, onwards and upwards. 4 hours kip before getting up to go down to Peterborough for the Fours!
The same could be said, pretty much, of any track next to houses.
If any track were to close down, then want to re-open, I'd be surprised if they wouldn't have to apply for planning permission again, which, nine time out of ten, would be turned down.
Add to Redcar - Scunthorpe and Plymouth that's 3 v 3 and don't forget the Millions of pounds that have had to be invested in Glasgow, that kind of thing happens once in a blue moon.
Don't think NL would be the answer. Hardly anyone is turning up to watch PL (and no additional people turned up to watch PL at £10 a shot) and the local derby would be against Buxton.
Write that book you mention David. Good Luck and thanks for the entertainiment you provided all down the years, especially your 15 point Max at Redcar when guesting for the Diamonds!!!
He'd been on the road from 5am, so can be excused scoring just the 2 points (was also excluded from heat 8 for 'delaying the start'). I think, once he gets dialled in to the place, he'll be fine. He certainly wants to do well.
Tero is not in the re-declared 1-7 until Sunday, so Konopka guests at reserve for Lewis R and Christian remains in 1-7 on Saturday, dropping to reserve for the match against Scunny on Sunday.
