You could, possibly, say that Holub was put into a similar position as Victor Palovaara was when he joined Glasgow. 7pt assessed average and thrown in at the deep end at No.1. Victor settled down when moved away from being a No.1 and now has a 5.28 average.
Given time, Holub may well do a similar thing. The question is, do you give him that time and, if you do, at what expense?
